Thank you for the compliments! I haven't seen rust yet, which excites me.
The problems it seems to have are:
Bad valve cover gasket (easy)
Bad tranny (got a new one/moderate)
Broken windshield (calling windshield guy/easy)
Bald Tires (lifting/easy)
Shot shocks (lifting/easy)
Troublesome tailgate (don't mind)
No Front Bumper (custom!/moderate)
Vacuum lines disconnected like mad (moderate)
And that's about it! Nothing looks difficult on it, just some time consuming stuff.
Does anyone know what could be leaking from that back left brake? Perhaps it's from the axle shaft even? Haven't looked into it yet.
Should the 35 take a locker alright on 31s?
I'll be making the shackles and spacers myself, I can post the makings on the build-up thing-a-ma-bob.
I can take pics of the leaf packs tomorrow after school for you, if that'll be alright. It's next door in the other garage... too far away for right now.
I heard it's possible to go pretty big without d-shaft vibes on a Comanche, but my Cherokee friend said he won't go over 3". ?
I want to do a 2" or so lift. I'll probably make some coil spacers for the front, unless those I-6 coils'll do it, and shackle the rear, to fit some 31s. I've got my Toyota to beat, so this'll just see the power line roads and such.
Stock tranny. I need to have it going real quick here, so I don't wanna mess around with anything fancy. 3.07 sounds bad! My other two trucks, Toy and GMC, are 4.10s stock... very nice.
