  1. I just hit 500... I feel special.
  2. Turning the eye shouldn't matter. Can you not find the appropriate shock? I was getting Skyjacker Hydros and had to get the 5" lift shocks for my 2" lift. I just kept sending em back saying they didn't work. First tried 0-2", then 3-4", then 5". They don't know MJs for $#!&.
  3. The MJ wheel wells are too big to accomidate the XJ flares in the rear.
  4. Just put mine on last week. We cleaned the block off (new block, but it had paint on it), put high temp gasket sealant on one side of the gasket, then on the block, then put the gasket on the block, the put gasket sealer on the second side of the gasket (the side facing the world), then gasket sealer on the water pump, then mounted the water pump.
  5. Your weakest point is the strength value of your arms. (Unexperienced me says...) A poly bushing is less likely to rip to shreds, but is also going to bind. If your tractor joint does enough, I'd think it'd be fine.
  6. The '02's for work. The '03's for pleasure. I got the go head to get it! Might sell my Yota too!

  8. that thing is ghey It's seriously a guy that does little boys. Like this with sides? How are you gonna haul all your "useful" crap?
  9. I'm a tie wire man myself.
  10. It's supposed to be a close fit?
  11. Lol. Our driveway's huge and everyone double parks each other. I know I'm going to use at least $500 of parts that I could have gotten off of it, but everyone would  if I brought it home. :dunno: I kind of hope it's a pile just so I can be happy if I don't buy it, but if it's worth it... Why doesn't anyone else on here live in OR so they can buy it and park it at their house so I can go there and tell them what to do to it, and drive it for them?
  12. There's an '86 Manche for sale I'm going to look at on Wednesday. It's a 2.5L, 207, 904, with a 4" lift (sounds just like mine), for $500. I want it. The guy said he's willing to part it even, as long as he gets $500. Problem is, driveway's crowded... '86 Camaro (Mom's) '97 Tacoma (Mom's) '67 Sportvan (Dad's) '02 F-350 (Dad's) '03 F-350 (Dad's) '04 Winnabango (Family's) '76 2500HD (Brother's) '04 Ranger (Brother's) '85 2500HD (Mine) '84 Toy (Mine) '86 Manche (Mine) What do I do??????
  13. I dropped mine with a piece of flat stock. Simple and easy. My rear, though, is only up 2"
  14. you --> :fool: <--me Lol, I can still barely tell it's a Yota too (Minus the hood and rear frame rails...)
  15. I wasn't sure if the rusted out rear 44 that was on the truck was the same purty one you had painted. Good work!
  16. But we don't lift our Jeeps in the air, balance them on stacked pencils, and change out trannies from underneath. It is a shame, but if I die, I hope I enjoy what I'm doing.
  17. Looks exactly like the one that was on my '84 Toy long bed when I bought it. I haven't a clue who made it. (I hate driving a Toyota, especially this one)
  18. Click the box titled, "Log me on automatically each visit", and it'll automatically log you in on each visit!
  19. This is the same axle?!
  20. Brett, is that yours I posted? Lol, if it was I didn't realize it. Looks completely different with just the chopped quarters.
  21. Mine always shoot across the room, but I've got a good eye.
  22. Unless, its some sort of goofy Canadian bastard child build. Its not an 86 4.0 AW-4. The 4.0l and AW-4 both debuted in 1987. 86 should be 2.8l V-stink, with the Chrysler 999 Don't forget the mighty 2.5! Jeez! Too many people space these engines.
  23. Yes, I've noticed this. It's been insane how many posts there have been. I think it's a Jeep thing. Do you understand? How'd we get a spammer on ComancheClub of all places?
  24. If it's similar to my bro's Chev, or my Toy, get a thin rag (like a piece of sheet), and slip it between the crank and door panel. Now shimmy it like you're drying your gouch after a shower (sorry, all I could think of) while pulling outward.
