  1. while it might work for a certain amount of time, it will eventually wear out and be useless.
  2. Got both axles sold. Went and got my new ones yesterday. Got the 44 on stands so that I can start working on it. Doesn't need much to get it to bolt in Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. sooooo......you bought it?
  4. Dana 30 getting delivered to its new home tomorrow. I got what I wanted money wise and the buyer got a hell of an axle for cheap. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I'd love to build one for the wife and eventually will it's just not in the cards right now. Plus my axles belong in a wheeler and I wouldn't build another wheeler.
  6. Selling them. I have a buyer for the 30 and should be here Sunday to pick it up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. you should buy that
  8. is the cab that bad? how fast were you going?
  9. i am picking up some new axles. front will be a full width HP44 with 5.13s, alloy shafts, yukon super joints, TNT truss, spool and crossover steering. Rear is a 9" with 5.13s, 35 spline alloy shafts, disc brakes, setup for 4-link, and an ARB. will be staying on 35s for the time being but 37s will be in the future.
  10. why can't you mount it to the unibody? thats what I'm gonna do when i get my air bumps.
  11. yeah i cut cab corners/rockers out once. never again will i go thru that.
  12. I redrilled the caliper mounts. you also need a spacer that goes between the caliper mount and axle seal. teraflex sells them, not sure if they still do or not.

    10 Years!

just realized that i passed my 10 year anniversary on CC. I joined before i could even drive. I remember when the MJ project forum was just 1 page. lots of good time have been had due to this site. here's to 10 more . :MJ 2: .
  14. i threw some KJ discs on my 44. noticed a big change in braking. My MJ sees more time off road, then on. My drums would pack full of mud/sand/rocks and just detroy the shoes leaving me with hardly any braking force in the rear. Discs eliminated that problem.
  15. i would kill to own that
  16. just got a few trips planned but thats about it. i have thoughts about redoing my rollcage. learned some things along the way and wish i would have done some things differently. we will see. the house could use some attention so thats probably what i'll be spending my time on.
  17. i had to cross that track going to my old job. never failed, if i was running late i'd always get stopped for a train lol. i was lucky if it was an amtrak.
  18. been there done that. always an interesting sound. luckily my D44 has been good to me and i've only broken a stock shaft (have alloys now). when i broke that shaft, i also ripped the traction bar mount off the axle and blew up the detroit locker.
  19. Oconomowoc. more east then north, i suppose.
  20. we are about an hour and fifteen minutes northeast of you
  21. looking forward to pics! i run a similar setup and it works great.
  22. are you still near madison, Brent?
  23. yes the clear was peeling on mine. my blue 88 and red 89 had no clear coat issues.
