All things come to him who waits.... I am very thankful for this great forum it is by far the best community of guys( and I think one girl? ) the internet has to offer! I am on over 8 forums between my 2 cars and this forum takes the cake because there is a plentiful amount of information, yes you should search for it and after searching and not finding what you're looking for then yes making a thread asking for free advice/ information is what you'll get! Free stuff isn't really the best quality stuff but it's a heck of alot better then nothin. There's practically no A-holes on this site and many people on here would lose an arm to help a fellow member!!!! so be happy that many of the guys on here have been answering questions to the less experienced for years! Like I said just wait and you shall receive! Or just search around

Don I agree he could probably catch the geese if he laid off the cancer sticks! My dog Cody used to be the same way with squirrels and butterflies! .... He's a mix between a great Dane and a rodesian ridgeback and their bred to hunt lions! But when he was a few years younger he almost made it 15 feet up a tree to get the little bouncy grey fur balls! I hate saying it but he's used up his 9 lives with the disease he has( cushings ) hes been my best pal since I was 8, he's the best furry friend anyone can ask for

3" TJ lift coils will lift the front 2" on MJs and XJs -

/\ I have a few favorite bands, Switchfoot, Zebrahead, taking back Sunday, The Joy formidable > When I was born my mom drove a 71 commando and my dad drove the Comanche, I was born with the disease! \/ how did you get into Jeeps?
-
Jeeps getting taken off the road for a couple months while I get some work done on her! She needs alot to stay road worthy and it's hard working on it when it yours daily driver.... First I'll work out the steering kinks with curries 1ton steering kit and a harder stabilizer to help battle bumpsteer and any possible deathwobble... Ive alresdy picked up the beefier 1ton tierodends :) and soon a package from Clayton will be arriving at my front door! Some bling bling baby! Then bfg km2s in the 35inch flavor while my axles get gears and a locker up front... :brows: Still undecided on which gears to go with... 4.10s or 4.56s Then bedline the bed undercarriage while I put in new floors and rustproof the whole thing!

Motion Offroad Budget Boost?
Dirteatr717 replied to kawaboy13's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Go sit under your truck with the manual for 20 minutes and look at pictures and labels! I learned all my stuff from my dad and taking stuff apart an putting it back, sure it's hard the first time but if you take pictures of how things were an label stuff like nuts and bolts in little baggies you'll be fine! When I put my spacers in I took the upper control arms off unbolted the torx bolt holding up the brakelines and unbolted the shocks from under the hood, take out the coils, slip the puck in there then squeeze the coil in and attach the upper control arms so your not fighting the shocks, then shocks and brakelines and spring retainer clips..... For the shackle you unbolt it from the leafpack then the frame side and put the new ones in the way you took the old ones out.... I'd recommend you invest in some wd-40 or pb blaster and spray the $#!& out of every nut and bolt for a week in advance every day 2 times a day so nothing breaks Good luck and get to work -
I got your Jeep thing and now it burns when I pee!

Yj brakelines are fine for my 6.5 inch lift... I think the part numbers are In the first 2 pages of my build thread

Read the install thread of the rc longarms on naxja.... The tranny bolts hang down and are unprotected and it gives you a 1" tcase drop. For the extra ~2-300 dollars I'd get claytons or TNTs upgrade.... I've personally taken off and installed a TNT setup it's pretty beefy and that skidplate-crossmember is a sweet setup but to do any tranny-tcase maintenance you have to take the whole thing off as one piece which is somewhat of a pain lining back up... Which is why I'm getting claytons when I cough up the mula

Exploded the ujoint in the rear driveshaft today, got a new spicer 1310 in there in just under 2 hours... Still need a new steering stabilizer, bar pin eliminators for te front shocks and a new tie rod end for the draglink-pitman arm then I'll be all set! Oh and I need new rubber!!!! I'm rolling on bologna skins :(

3 inch lift or 4.5 inch lift
Dirteatr717 replied to Guanaco.13's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Since it's 2wd I'd just stick to the 3" lift and 32s because of how much cheaper it'll be unless you plan on turning it into 4wd -
3 inch lift or 4.5 inch lift
Dirteatr717 replied to Guanaco.13's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I'm running a 6.5" lift with 33s on stock 3.07 gearing and it's not bad at all! Sure 5th has no power uphill but it's still usable on flat ground -

Dirteatr717 replied to beepbeepmyredjeep's topic in The Pub
Lifted-done Longarms- need more mula Lockers & gears- awaiting the cash tree to fall so I cab make a big pile of leaves and buy lots of heep related items! I would also like to make a shortbed 2wd street manche with either a 360 or a chevy 350 and set it up to go fast :D -
This is the ultimate daily driver/ weekend wheeler! I don't know why I haven't checked out this thread before but man your truck is awesome! Can't wait to see the installed longarms! Keep at it man and take it easy on the back! -Nick

No matter where I go the lowest it'll be is around $750-900 a month! I don't even make that much to eat lunch once a week and pay for insurance like that! Between the gas prices up here and this crap my bicycle is looking pretty sweet! I'm currently under my parents plan with the jeep for like 1300 a year and it'd be closer to 3800 even on my parents plan for the camaro.. So it'll just have to sit in my driveway until it's old enough for classic insurance or to get a quote from Jim :D

I posted in it! Check jegs mopar section for the spring perches... 2.75 wide by I think 7" long

When's the last time you did a full tuneup and have you check your o2 sensor lately? That can help with the mileage :waving:
