  1. I called them back and told them that I shouldn't be paying as others weren't. Woman on the phone flipped out and demanded to know who was "stealing" their service. I just hung up (I was calling from a landline so good luck to them tracking me down!)
  2. The refracted light becomes like a magnifying glass and actually has been known to set things on fire if they happen to be at the focal point

  6. I went from stock tires with 3.07 gears to 33" tires with 3.73 which equals 3.1 ratio. Close enough!
  7. I called ATT back and they reiterated no monthly fee = no cell service. I let them know in no uncertain terms I was unhappy with having to pay for the service twice PLUS pay for the wired in internet service from Comcast. I was basically told tough cookies. That's they way it is. (and I'm pissed!)

  11. I've had a great time with some of those jerkoffs. My fav was to have some buddies in full uniform march into his office as my "posse" while I had a couple words with him. Basically to the effect "while pussies like you ruin this country with your manicured lawn enforcement, WE keep it safe. Remember that!" Never got bothered again.

  15. I have to figure out how to make one to work with the FSJ steering box I'm going to put in mine.
  16. Mine is 1/2 a car and everything runs on 12VDC except the fridge. 4D truck battery to keep it all on until I can make the motor run (doing an LPG conversion when I get back to work in a month or so) I even have a 12VDC electric blanket.
  17. Motor mount kit would be best. Then use a whole drivetrain from whatever you're getting the motor from.
  18. Would the rear slave cylinders allow both sides of the master cylinder drain? No. There is a seal between the two master cylinders. Both seals would have to go bad. You will notice one of the master cylinders is larger than the other. That one is for the rear brakes. The smaller reservoir is for the front brakes. That is, if you have disc brakes in front and drum in back. Normal shoe wear will lower the fluid level. Not empty the reservoir. Backwards. Larger rez is front because the disc brakes require more fluid due to wear and tear. I've had the master throw fluid over the "wall" between front and back and empty both.

  20. I got a diesel water separator and put it on my Spirit. Gas tank kept sucking water in around the filler neck
  21. Anyone have the firewall pinouts for an '87 MJ (4.0L std 2wd) and a '90 XJ (4.0L AW4 4x4). I swapped my wiring and I'm about to hook up my battery and I hope I'm not about to smoke my wiring.
  22. Switch the sensors you need to the new trans. AFAIK, they should all work (I put a '98ish one in mine) Just make sure you have the right tcase for the trans. The swirled the splines right about then.
