LOL wtf jack. Man that sucks, At least you didnt get charged for reckless driving. I'm going to try and get a trip to sumas mt planned early next month. Need to try out the new front axle & Cage. I went to walker valley for my third time yesterday (Saturday) and I went in some jeep trails there. It's nice becuase they are all labeled and have names. After I do my axle swap I'm wanting to go there and hit some of the trails I rode on my quad. A lot of trails have too tight of corners for our long beds Yea, I've only gone up their once. Don't wheel your truck up there without someone with you, Its really easy to get stuck. Ya I'd never go out without another person

Well, I was playing football with my buddies and afterwards I was heading out of the parking lot and did a donut. There was no people or cars around. Got reported, the pulled over, and almost got a reckless driving charge. This was on a college campus and now I can't ever go back anywhere on it (thus college campus is 1/4 mile away and I go there many times a month so it sucks). I know I should be thankful I didn't get reckless but man I'm still pissed. Who hasn't done a donut in a empty parking lot? My sister has in her Jetta. Just adds character to my Comanche. Lol

Nate at nates4x4.com makes Comanche specific bumpers and Rock sliders. I have his winch front bumper and rock sliders and it's awesome. He uses more bolts to attach it to the frame then rough country so it's pretty sturdy

If you don't swap the master and Slave together, they'll blow reach other out. I had the same problem then just switched it out for an ax15 tranny

Yea, Thats at sumas. My truck & a toyota both broke a front axle on that trail, like 20 feet from each other lol If you're planning on putting a locker in the front, Do it while you have it re-geared. So you don't have to pay to set up the gears twice.What is sumas? Thanks, Willy It's a local mountain near Bellingham Wa where were located. They have bike, atv and jeep trails.

I just did an ax15 swap and put a new rear main seal. Its already leaking (so it thought), but it could be the gasket ring? I've never heard of that.

I pulled the HP30 out of my parts cherokee and even though i don't wheel very hard at all, if any, I felt like bilding a "truss". Ive never done anything like this so I'm just wondering what i can still do or what i souldve done. Also, should i put any metal in between the control arm mount? thanks its made out of 1/4inch 4 inch. Just made a truss for my HP30 out of 1/4inch 4 inch flat stock. Never done anything like that before, it was fun. Don't worry, I preheated everything and so far welds are holding

Finally got around to posting some more stuff. So far, the tranny is running great. I still have out the new 4wd linkage on and i still need to connect my 2 piece axle. Because school started I haven't been working so my income base come to a stop. Because I'm out of $$$ I've been working on my parts cherokee and 8.8. I pulled both axles and brake booster out of the cherokee and then had it picked up for free. I welded the axle tubes to the housing on the 8.8. I preheated the housing to 400 and spot welded it so hopefully it'll hold up. I also got a DIY diff cover for the 8.8 and I love how it looks and turned out. The paint I'm using on the axles is rustoleom hammered black. My next project is to finally get the 8.8 in, the new lift, and this dana 30 that needs some work. I'm going to paint it tonight and then take it to get re geared soon. It need some new brakes so ill probably just by factory ones from napa. I end up having to use 2 winches and an engine lit to get it over this 2 inch curb and into my "work zone". At one point the axle was underneath the rear doors. It has 3.07s. I just went to Napa and a stock brake lot with everything is only 170$. And some of the ends of it look horrible. But I might re use them

So I don't know what to call this but I pulled a hp30 out of this cherokee I have and this thing is nasty. I'm going to need all new brakes including everything, tie rod, tie rod ends and just about everything else. I haven't pull diff cover yet but I have to get it re geared to 4.10a anyway. I'm not wanting to build this thing with chromoly a or lockers yet becuase I don't have the money and I need to swap this in soon to get my 4wd back. I'm just wondering what people recommend for brake kits and tie rod end s and all that stuff. I'm really not sure what to buy. I've never even touched brakes before. Thanks Edit: Should I go to Napa and get parts? Or do some after market upgrades? My brakes are terrible. I have a brake booster but just need to install it

I have 31s now but come next summer I'll try out 35s. Hopefully 4.10s are enough to handle 35s if not I'll get 33s

I was doing homework and then saw this and man i love it. I'm a big John deere guy so i love the paint. I really wanting to build a roll bar like that in the bed, but i have a HP30 that I'm trying to find the money to get re geared. I so wish i could get paid for going to high school.

Just wondering what to get for a 6 inch lift for bump stops? Thanks
