Ok thanks. I'm probably going to wait to do the elimination because I need my truck running by tomorrow. Also, if I do that elimination will that leave me in 4wd? How does it shift into 4wd anymore? Does it hair use the linkage? And should I pull out that aftermarket 4wd shifter that is pictured earlier?

the rainbow colored lines look like electrical linesand nothing like vacuum but I'm not sure. And do I need to that elimination thing? What if I left it? And when you talked about that cable thing, that has nothing to do with that aftermarket 4wd shifter thing? I'm still confused on some stuff.

So i cut off all the plugs on the cherokee and am going to wire them back in but i am confused on some things. like the breather hoses, there is only 1 on the new t case. should i just ditch the others from the comanche? maybe theres more but i couldn't find any more. and then theres this 3 wire plug. on the comanche it was 4 wires. what wire do i leave out? and what are the plugs on the t case for? this is the old t case from the comanche where the plug goes into [/url]">http:// here is the old plug with the 4 wires, while the new one has only 3 [/url]">http:// here's a pic of both the plugs that Id like to know what they do. the closet one is the plug that i was talking about above. this is the cherokees t case. So I'm in the middle of the swap right now and have two problems. First one is the electrical connections on the AX 15 look a lot different than the ones on my Comanche. Do I need to wire new plugs? Also I got a new slave cylinder and master but I could not get the new hydraulic lines is it OK to use the old ones? I'll swap it out once napa gets it but they don't have any in stock for a while

How do I know if my cherokee is non CAD?

So I got everything in, now I need to start pulling the hydraulic line and clutch pedal off the Cherokee. One thing I noticed is that the Comanche electrical plugs much different then the cherokee electrical plugs. What do I do about that ?

No for both but I asked a mechanic friend and he just said to pack it with grease. I bought about the flywheel thing but mine is in perfect condition so I just left it alone but maybe I should.

Any advice on how to tighten bolts without having it spin?

What flywheel do I use? Cherokee or Comanche?

today is monday, and ever since friday I've been doing the ax15 swap. its been going well, no issues until yesterday, sunday, when we found out about the PB and the different size. today, monday, i went to a machine shop and had a new brass bushing made for 35$, which was sweet and only took 30 mins. hopefully i can have the clutch and flywheel back on in the next hour or so and then start putting her back up in the comanche. Also, do all of the comanche plugs, and breathers fit on the ax15? or do i need to do some wiring?. thanks! I don't know a whole lot but if you have a long bed you don't need an sye unless you got like 10 inches of lift

What's the advantage to a non CAD?

Also, should j use the comanche cross member or the Cherokee one? I know I need to do some modifications which isn't a problem just wondering what's involved

Rent a puller (slide hammer type) from Auto Zone, pops right out So will that ax15 bearing fit right in?

So I've been doing the ax15 swap and I'm working on the rear main seal and pilot bearing right now. I have the oil pan out only because the gasket was leaking so i thought i should replace it, plus it makes it easier with the tranny out to. My question is how do i replace the Rear main seal and the pilot bearing. The seal napa gave me looks way different then the one i puled out and the one i pulled out is a 2 piece while the napa one is a one piece. Ive watched multiple videos on the RMS, but still confused. I have the pilot bearing that fits the ax15 output shaft but how do i get the old pugeuot one out and put in the new ax15 one? the ax15 PB looks bigger too. here's some pics. I always put a little grease on bearings before I put them in, but do I need to do any more then that?

Never heard of that before, what does that do?

Thanks and for the pilot bearing, should I get one that fits the cherokee I have or one for my comanche? I already have one that came with the clutch but I'm not sure what to use. I've heard different things in what fits
