  1. Ok thanks, ill have to pull it out and try again. Any thoughts on the oil leak?
  2. Just get some Napier precision fender flares. Much cheaper then bush wackers and look better. They'll clear up to 33s with no lift
  3. So since I've done my ax15 swap, I have a slow oil leak and my speedos not working. It's so wet here that I don't want to crawl under all the way to check for this oil leak because id be in a puddle so I have just been monitoring my oil level. My theory is that when I put on the new oil pan gasket, I didn't put rtv on the corners like the directions said so I think it could be leaking out around there but i haven't really look so that'd help. Also my speedos not working. It's all the way screwed it and seated and is connect to the little yellow speedo gear. Any advice for either? Thanks
  4. How does it drive with the locker up front?
  5. i think there might be a new one in town. maybe not but I've never seen it before. it was green and had a black canopy. lifted with big tires but nothing outrageous
  6. tranny is all in. I started school right in the middle of it so i didn't get to finish it until the following saturday. it went well other then i might have an oil leak and i couldn't get a U-Joint all the way seated in so i had to take it to a shop but it was free so that was dope. this oil leak is just worrying me. it could be the oil pan gasket because i didn't put any sealant on the corners of it like the directions said (didn't read them until it was all said and done) or hopefully not the rear main. i replaced it and had no problems with it. maybe I'm wrong about this oil leak. ill just have to keep monitoring my oil levels.
  7. Did Midas do that complete install? I really need an upgrade in that area.
  8. Ya I have both linkages out but just need to put it back on
  9. Also, I haven't done it yet but is the linkage a direct swap over? I have everything else done but I didn't have time to put in the linkage
  10. I had he same problem with the bearing kpuller but I just took my grinder to it and made it smaller so it fit in the hole but then I couldn't return it but it was only like 12$
  11. I know this was from 1 year ago, but I got my truck painted at Macco. It was there medium line Job and so far the paint has held up great and looks good. It costed me 1100$
  12. I got it going. Just had to bolt on the thing on top of the tranny bell housing. I started it up with the exhaust off and it sounds soooooo good. I might have to straight pipe it
  13. Also there's no spark and no wetness on the spark plugs
  14. Cranking but not starting. And it ran perfect when I parked it
  15. So last weekend I did the ax15 swap, but never actually tried turning it over until today because I was busy with school and my sister was gone so I just drove her Jetta. Everything a on except for the 4wd linkage and front drive shaft. The thing won't start. Battery's good, starters on, it has gas but it was empty when I parked it so I just put 1/4 tank in it. I used the ax15 starter; should I have used the ba10 starter? I don't know much about getting a vehicle started so any help would be great!
  16. I said that because the newer transfer cases like the one I swapped in to my jeep during my ax15 swap, doesn't use the vacuum system
  17. You could do an ax15 swap and eliminate that completely. That's what I just did.
  18. I am but the exhaust part is different so I'll have to fab something up. I just started school so I don't have alot of time anymore. I'll have to wait for the weekend
  19. I got some 2 for cherokee doors I'm trying to sell
  20. If you do the elimination, you will not be locked on 4wd. You will only be in 4wd when you engage the tcase. The elimination just locks the two piece axle together. Read through the prior link. There is a lot info about how it is "supposed to work" and what the elimination accomplishes. You should use the 4wd shifter and linkage from the donor. There is a diff in the profiles for the BA10 and AX15 that the linkage adjusts for. [/quote Now that I have more time, I'm trying to modify the crossmember so it can support that exhaust pipe like that original one on my Comanche did. Anyone have any suggestions?
  21. Damn that looks good. This weekend I want to pull the engine and d30 out of this cherokee and I'm going to rebuild both and swap them in eventually.
  22. I got a 2 door cherokee I'm trying to get rid of/ part it and a guy wants the doors. The glass is good. No rust, paints decent, they go up and down fine except for the drivers side handle likes to pop off. How much should k tell him? I don't really have any idea
  23. Thanks guys got it all figured out.
