  2. So HP 30, 8.8, and all lift parts are in. Only hiccup I had was that Lee and I put on a wheel bearing from my old axle but it made it so my rotors hit the ball joint area and therefore the wheel wouldn't turn so I had to go buy a new wheel bearing and put that on. Other then that all is good. I'm probably going to have some driveshaft vibes but I got shims. Ill get a pic of the whole truck tomorrow. I also need to go get an alignment soon.   3. So last night Lee and I put a bearing off my old cad dana30 that looked brand new but turns out it wasn't the exact same. I just put in a new one for the right year and it works good!
  4. So just finished 8.8 SOA and hp 30 swap Passenger from side will not turn forwards. Only backwards. The caliper isn't stuck at all and that side had a brand new wheel bearing. What do I do? Hopefully it's sumple
  5. Where in the axle tube up and down should the shock mounts be? Do I weld them on when the trucks weight is On the axle ? How extended should the shock be? Thanks. I'm SOA and I have bilsteins and the ruff stuff simple swap shock mounts

  11. When I did my ax15 swap it was harder to get the t case in then anything else. I had a tranny Jack too
  12. I already out the d35 back in, but I'll do that when I put in the new springs
  13. The bed was almost up to my neck and I'm 6ft tall
  14. It was off the jackstands. I had to drive it out of the garage to do the front. Those leafs didn't really compress at all so ya, it was really high
  15. I measured the spot right behind the bed on mind from the ground to the quarter panel area and it was 33 inches. On lees it was 24 so no it was not s hyperbola

  17. So when I started by SOA swap last weekend I learned that my leafs were not stock. I had about 14 inches of lift. So now I need new leaf packs. I saw the ones on General spring but shipping Is almost 90$!!! Anywhere else sell them? Thanks
  18. There's a guy here in Bellingham with a comanche and a few months ago he told me he had an ls7 and was about to swap it in. I haven't seen him around anymore though but damn that'd be sick
  19. So I just made and sold another bike rack I made and I thought I had enough money for the general spring mj stock leafs, but its 85$ shipping so that sucks
  20. I did it yesterday and ya you just flip it over. it takes like 10 minutes to install the whole thing and it's great
  21. I just did it in September and it wasn't bad. Just don't forget to get a new pilot bearing or bushing. I had a bushing made but a lot of guys just get a 304 bearing or something like that.
