  1. Like the title says, I need a trans harness for an AW4 for my auto swap. The guy I got the parts XJ from cut the old harness so I'm up a creek right now. Any help is appreciated
  2. Well I know it's only a small group, I think I'll look into something else other then a ZJ. Thanks for the input guys.

  4. Looks good. I like the light bar behind the grill. Where ya at in Jersey?
  5. Some info on the truck would help with an assessment...
  6. Gear ratio depends on your motor/trans setup. I'd run a 29 spline 8.25. Fairly cheap, common, and not over priced like a D44, which really aren't anything too great.
  7. I think you could find a nicer, more useful, and better built bumper for a little more money. I've never liked those tube bumpers..
  8. I would NOT buy a 6.4 powerstroke. People talk bad on 6.0's. I kicked myself when I sold my 6.0 and bought my 6.4. 10k plus for a motor when a piston lets go. Been there, done that.
  9. I've been looking into some XJs again as well. They seem to be fetching a premium now then the last time I bought one.
  10. Front components will work, leafs on the rear are no good. Totally different design. That much lift takes a lot of extra parts to make work properly. Some info on the lift would be helpful
  11. If you want one with the gear indicator you'll have to make one yourself. Had that issue with my 92
  12. I'm mainly looking at it for something bigger and more comfortable to travel back and forth to Jersey to see family. I would probably end up with 4.0 and would prefer a 242 because I have no need for AWD all the time. I guess I'll have to start looking/reasearching a little more. I don't plan on buying anything until the neon dies..... If it dies...
  13. Exactly why I hate parts stores. You couldn't even get a D44 in an 86...
  14. I'll add to this. 88 Pioneer. The one that started it all. My 17 y/o self thought I could fix the body work... 2009 The 87 I never should have sold. 2009 The 92. Biggest pos out there. Looked pretty good though. 2010 The eliminator. Loved this little truck. 2010 And fast forward 4 years and I've got this new project. 2014
  15. I know a fair amount about them, but I'm no expert. I always thought the ZJ's all had AW4's at least behing the 4.0's but I guess I thought wrong.
  16. So I can never make up my mind when it comes to vehicles. Long story short, I DD my 01 neon. Used to use it as my commuter, but have since eliminated the commute. Also, with it approaching 300k miles I figure it won't be too long before it dies. Been looking at various vehicles for a new DD ranging from WRX's to CTS-V's and now started looking into jeeps again. I'd love to find a clean 5.9 limited ZJ, but would be content with a 4.0. Just looking for some input/advice from people who own/owned them. What's good/bad? What did you like, what didn't you like? Any help is appreciated.
  17. I'm surprised amc never cut a hole in the side of the air box from the factory.
  18. Can only imagine how this thing rides.... http://winchester.craigslist.org/bar/4855544316.html

  20. Saying a "Modded" factory air box is the same as forced induction is pretty comical... Not everyone always likes what others do. That's life
  21. Been collecting parts for this while the weather's been bad. Grabbed a few things from the u pull for it. If I can get a few warm days I'll try and get some more done.
  22. Grey seats. If they were black I'd keep em
  23. I've got some 2 door XJ seats, but I'm in VA
  24. 1989 Sportruck 2.5, 2wd, AX5, D35 At Foss's u pull it Chesapeake, VA
