  1. There have been 5.13s for the JK D30 for a while but they are different. Revolution gear is the only company as far as i know that is making them for the older D30.
  2. Revolution gear makes 5.13s for the D30. I had 4.88s with the TBI 2.5l and 33s, it worked pretty good especially since i had been running stock 3.55s with 33s before,it was a huge difference. When i built the MPI engine i went to 5.38s and 37s,it pulled good even before the supercharger.
  3. 4.0ls are pocket change, you could pick up a good one for cheap. Or be different and build the 2.5l.
  4. So far i like them,I haven't been able to break them yet. They felt pretty smooth the little bit that I've driven on them with the hubs locked in.
  5. Took the MJ to NAXJA's NWfest, didn't get much for pics but other than a few minor issues the truck did great.
  6. I did the Peel and Seal,it's similar to Fatmat but not quite as thick as dynamat,it was about $30 to do my entire floor. I don't have carpet anymore and the engine,trans,t-cases in my MJ are poly mounted so it was very loud and tinny inside, the Peel and Seal made a big difference over having nothing, it only quieted it down a little inside but the tinny sound is completely gone which was the bigger issue. Driving on the highway or long trips use to drive me nuts and now it is much more tolerable.
  7. A link to my YouTube channel,it's got a bunch of footage of the MJ. https://m.youtube.com/user/Nathen2990
  8. Everything will work like normal.
  9. I have the oval Maxxima hybrid lights, i just went to the parts store and bought an electronic flasher relay to run them. The electronic relays don't need a bunch of resistance like the thermal mechanical ones do.
  10. I decided to finally install the RCVs that have been sitting in the garage for the last few months.
  11. I took the MJ to a clean up a couple weeks ago,we removed 3,360lbs of trash from a local OHV area. Afterwards i got to play on the trails a little. Here's a video someone put together, towards the end is some footage of the MJ in action. https://youtu.be/a62czF7_4jo
  12. It is a pretty big difference,i didn't realize how much until last weekend when the bypass valve got stuck open and it lost boost. It moves pretty good without the supercharger but you definitely miss it when it's gone.
  13. The Kenne Bell/Autorotor supercharger and Laminova water/air intercooler were part of an Avenger kit for a 2.5l TJ but i bought them separately and built everything myself. I haven't had it on a dyno but Avenger use to advertise their kit at 182HP on a stock 2.5l,who knows what it's making on mine
  14. My 89 MJ. The 4 angry squirrels.
  15. Some changes to the plan,my boy had been very interested in the MJ and wanted to rebuild it so i gave it to him. We are unsure what it will be getting for axles and stuff as he wants to make it a driver so he doesn't really need the lockers and stuff. We stripped a spare 95 2.5l i had laying around and are rebuilding it to replace the bad engine, the new one will probably stay TBI. He finally got the old 2.5l out tonight.
  16. I do not,i have looked at some but haven't got one. I was going to try one if the adjustable MAP wasn't enough but it seems to be working with the 24lb injectors. I just checked my MAP,without the MAP adjuster it is sitting at 4.54v volts with the key on. (It's the middle wire on the plug to check it) I bumped it up to 4.74v with the MAP adjuster and ran a few laps around the neighborhood,it's running pretty good like that.
  17. So far my 1bar with the MAP adjuster is keeping the AFR happy,if i turn up the boost much more i think i will have to get a stand alone.
  18. Remember when reading the chart that a 1bar is only reading atmospheric pressure, every pound of boost will be above atmospheric pressure,a 2 bar is good to around 14.5psi of boost,a 3bar will go around 30psi. A 1bar won't be able to make any adjustments once you start building boost,so it technically won't be able to keep up,but at low boost it could be good enough.
  19. What MAP sensor are you looking at that has that adjustability without a tuner? I tossed a 3bar on mine just to see what it would do,even with my MAP adjuster my OBD1 ECM couldn't figure out what to do with it,once the MAP starts seeing positive pressure the ECM freaks out. Right now i have a stock 1bar,i measured voltage at the sensor and bumped it up .2v with the MAP adjuster, it ran a little too rich so i backed it off a little the other day. I need to hook a meter to it and see what my voltage is at now. Originally i had 19lb injectors and it would run a little lean even with the MAP turned up,i have 24s in it now and i think it would run fine without the adjuster. I also tried 30lbs but the idle quality sucked.
  20. Another short video the wife got of the MJ. https://youtu.be/Z1lrnkQp3Ro
  21. It's the original 89 Renix block and head but it's dressed as a 2.5l MPI. It's a mixture of 91 MJ and 95 YJ.
  22. It's running pretty good,i swapped the 19lb injectors for some 24s so AFRs seem to be happy under boost now. I tried some 30s but they were too much at idle, the 24s seem to be as big as the stock ECM can handle. I'm curious to see what it can do on a dyno too.
