thats what I'm painting my jeep with i already did some test sprays on some fenders i had laying around. i didn't use mineral spriets i used xylol it sprays better and drys better i did 2 coats on my test with gray primer and was happy with the results. i spent twice as much to paint my rock crawler and wasnt as happy. paint lays down better than my ppg i was using. i will also be putting on a clear coat and maybe some metal flake

tried to get my yj springs replaced with there lifetime warranty with proof of purchase. was on the phone for 2 weeks sent emails and pictures i ended up buying some jy springs. i wish i had there email that said it doesn't look like our product. its the looks wrong because the springs are repainted because they were rusting. so i havent bought a product since. -
transmission problems questions
MuddFoot replied to bbe's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
when your moving it to reverse see if it trys to catch at all. i had a issue in my first 88 with no reverse i changed the fluid to Valvoline max life dex/mec which is a universal fluid if you have ever took the class from valvoline oil. added 1/2 a bottle of lucas and changed the fliter. seemed to work for me. on the tcm reverse would still work if it was bad you wouldn't be able to shift through the forward gears unless you manually did it. -

i just had a issue with the actual pump wires is redid them all and redid the ground to the pump i still have a bad sending unit but it runs great.
-
i just bought a ranger and if they could fit i would do it because the 60/40 bench would be nice. ill mesure tomorrow but the seat brackets are way different. probley gonna need so good mods

i changed it with one i had here and it was still messing up. so i left it pluged in and unhooked the main vac line and plug the line if you unplug the solenoid it runs even worse i guess it has to be plugged in no matter what. so the electrical has to stay plugged in and the vac disconnected and it runs perfect. so I'm going to start cleaning up the truck and getting ready to paint.
-
what year mj and does it have the baliest resister. if so remove and put the 2 wires together
-
egr. i messed with everything but it pulled the vac hose off and boom runs perfect. but look at all the spare parts i have laying around now.
