Bump, I need help. Here's what I pulled off today: What's the right part number for a replacement yoke? Mine is pretty groovy LOL and RockAuto is no help. Local auto parts store did not have anything either. So I might go to eBay or Amazon to purchase one...

Why the limit of 5?

Yeah, not an MJ but worth sharing... you will get laid if you are rollin' in this boys!! It looks like the guy behind it is taking a piss LOL http://www.kijiji.ca/v-cars-trucks/regina/1988-jeep-cherokee-wagoneer-limo/1010956994

I guess it's not all that similar. But for what it's worth there used to be a Raider manufacturing plant in my city, years ago. As an aside, that is a really sweet Comanche, I tried tracking the owner down months ago but the guy I tracked down had sold it. Then I saw it again last week so took a pic. If it's still there I will try to track down the current owner and tell him to call me when he wants to sell it :-)

There's a similar one on a Comanche here in town...

I believe Raider is a Canadian co, they're closed now I think.

I don't find him funny but I do like his videos otherwise. You can only tell me you have muffler bearings one or two times before it gets old.

More Power Form Renix 87 And 88
91Pioneer replied to cruiser54's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I thought about it but figured it's probably not worth it since I have a standard and really don't drive it hard, rarely rev or shift over 2,500. If I had an auto (read: stronger trans) I likely would do the swap. -

I would totally be interested in video updates. You have a really sweet truck there, I would like to see more. Just be sure to not shoot vertical video ;) -
The truck was a sweepstake prize, so that means mainly people not in the race are likely who bought tickets and had a chance to own that Comanche.

So the dark blue interior on my truck is growing on me. I may or may not still keep it blue. I may switch to grey at some point, but for now I'm leaving it blue. I'm also liking the woodgrain dash trim piece that goes around the gauges and hvac, etc. I'm a real visual guy so I would really like to see an example of how that looks, but I've not found any pics of that combination. If y'all have a pic of the darker woodgrain dash trim on a dark blue interior, PLEASE post it here. For reference, here's my interior: And this is the sort of thing I'm thinking of buying: I did find this one pic but it's the lighter wood with the lighter blue so it's not quite the same: I hope all these pics don't come out too huge...

Here are a couple more interior photos just because.

I would like the shoutbox to disappear. This is a forum, not a chat room. I never look at the SB, I have SB blindness I guess.

To be honest, the interior is growing on me too. I originally did not like the blue and really wanted gray, but now I'm not in a rush to collect all the rest of the gray parts LOL

I did pull up the passenger side while I was cleaning the carpet. Very small amount of surface rust, actually very good condition as compared to what I expected. My cab is really solid, worst rust is on the box (wheel wells). Truck was originally from BC (west coast), cars last a lot longer there because of winter conditions aren't so severe.

OK I'm about ready to get this done, I think I'll finally have time this week to do it. I was just wondering in the event the yoke has a groove in it and needs replacement, what is the correct part # for me to buy? Can be any brand, just needs to be cheap. Crown, Omix-Ada, whatever. When I looked on RockAuto they did not appear to carry the yoke for the D35. I kind of think this is the right one but it says it's for Wranglers only so I don't know: Omix-Ada 16580.20. Worst case I could probably find a speedy sleeve but I hear they're only slightly cheaper than buying a yoke so may as well spend a little extra and just buy the yoke (if I find out I need it after removing the old one).

Time for another minor update. I've been busy and out of town so didn't get a whole lot done lately. I fixed the blend door cable, it took me a while but I figured out how to get that darn clip on properly. I changed the transfer case fluid (boy it needed it), put in Mobil 1 full synthetic ATF. I cleared the rear axle vent line, which caused about a quarter liter of fluid to leak out the pinion seal overnight. I removed the ugly Pioneer decals from the bedsides, and used PlastX polish to make the tail lights look good. Otherwise I bought a few things for future project time: a used exhaust manifold with no cracks, a rear pinion seal, and a FelPro exhaust gasket. Oh yeah and yesterday I cleaned the carpet using Turtle Wax PowerOut Carpet Cleaner and stiff bristled brush, I'm VERY impressed with the result. Here is a before & after pic, I may touch up a few spots a second time, but wow for $8 it made a world of difference!

Changing The Turn Signal Lights Out
91Pioneer replied to redwolf624's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
The OEM amber turn signals are on eBay again, there are 5 sets listed so get 'em while you can. Same seller I bought from, they do accept a "best offer". Good seller, I've bought from them more than once actually. http://www.ebay.com/itm/-/131262020814 -

I like my manual, shifts aren't crazy long. It's much more fun than a slush box.
