  1. I've been dd a first gen tundra for a while and I like it , it's reliable ,easy to work on , plenty of power. but the only problem is that it's a gas hog, if you plan On getting a tundra with the v8 be weary that it's a timing belt engine and the belt is due every 90k
  2. Check the socket that houses the turn signal bulb , could have corrosion. mines has been like that forever and I still haven't gotten to replacing it. here's a vid on how to replace it
  3. Non plastic was used for 86 and below , the one you want is the one with the plastic clip

  7. How far are you guys from Woodland Hills , I just moved here and plan on bringing my Comanche in a month or two
  8. Maybe that's what I'm thinking , maybe it's overworking the fuel pump and causing it to be loud .It wouldn't hurt to try there first, fuel filters aren't that expensive for these beasts.
  9. Fuel pump maybe ,id start small and replace the fuel filter , it might be partially clogged.

  13. Was it still leaking before the water pump replacement? Try checking under the thermostat housing or any split hoses that go into the thermostat housing
  14. Thank you for your response , I got the oring and replaced it . Turns out that when I replaced my high pressure hose I most likely over tightened the nut and split the seal . No leaks So lesson learned, when replacing hose , be gentle and tighten until it starts to get pretty snug . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  16. Does anyone happen to know the size of the o ring that goes on the steering box end of the line , I tried searching but all I found was that end of the line was 18 mm , does that mean I need to look for a 18mm o ring ? Thanks.

  19. Just a quick small update; I Finally replaced the heater core this past nov , had to pull the whole dash. Also took it to school and replaced the power steering return hose That's about it Nothing else has really been done , but hs graduation is one month away , after that there will be more time to work on her .
