  1. It’s Been a while since an update , but since the last update I have done a few things to improve the old jeep . I have since done cruisers tips 11, 14, 18, 28,30. i have added an extra ground from the battery to the fender. Then another ground has been added to the dash ground and another for the blower motor. There was also a mess of wires behind the dash and was blowing my radio fuse but I have since corrected the problem. There was also a vacuum leak at the climate Control panel but has been fixed , the issue was that one of a the rubber hoses had popped off, no more hissing noise behind the dash anymore
  2. Merry Christmas to everyone !!
  3. Did you run a wire to the fuse block for the radio memory ?
  4. I had just ordered a mopar Cts and cps yesterday
  5. I had a similar thing happen with rockauto , I ordered a tps that was supposed to be standard motor brand but I ended up getting a mopar brand tps in the mail
  6. Same here , wish you guys the best 😉
  7. Installed headlight harness , before and after
  8. Thanks , I appreciate it , I still want to add more , I want to change the door handles to chrome and swap the tow mirrors for the chrome ones that come on xjs.
  9. Finally got my chrome bumper on , I love how it looks . Also picked up some center caps from the jy.
  10. I've done a lot of work to her . Still have a long way to go . I performed cruisers tips 1-5 8, 28 ,29 . The idle was a mess and the tps was way off . Someone tried to replace the vacuum lines but made it worse and I had to fix that . Once the lines were put back right I started her up and idle was at 1500 Rpm . Drove me crazy trying to find the issue untill I found out someone had messed with the throttle body screw 🤦‍♂️. Then more fun The rear spider gears blew and left me on the side of the road . I took care of those and replaced them with some off a jy Comanche and got her back together and she's driving good . I decided to replace the fuel pump and filter because I was having poor acceleration and backfires through the intake. I Went ahead and just replaced it since I didnt know how old the old pump was . I had a mopar o ring gasket laying around and decided to use that instead of the crappy one that came with the pump . I got all of those things done and she's running wassayyy better than before . Although I am having an issue with sputtering/misfire right now . I feel like it's. going to be something with the ignition system . I'm going to try indexing the dizzy and see if it makes any difference. I also swapped the front clip to chrome . I still need to get a chrome bumper and a better grill to tie it off nicely .
  11. Went chrome on the front end . I still need to pick a bumper and a grill that matches the year .
  12. Been a while since posting but wanted to share , i was having issues with the o2 sensor being stuck at around 4.7 volts when warm , I tested the heater and I was only getting 8 volts instead of the usual 12-13 volts . Cruisers tips 1-6 and tip 28 and 29 have been done . I went and unplugged any connector I could find and sprayed everything down with electrical cleaner , also did that to the relay center . But still nothing . After reading , I saw a thread on naxja and some guy was having the same issue and it turned out to be his relay , so I tried the same and swap around the relay and yup, problem solved . 13 volts to the sensor heater now and now you can see the sensor switching from closed to open constantly IMG_6429.MP4
  13. Needs some chrome
  14. Crazy day today. Went to the junkyard and left a happy man . Scored a nice , 3 spoke wheel , a working clock , and a dog light switch. All was going perfectly until when I went to use the steering wheel puller on the Comanche. The tip of the puller slipped off the steering wheel shaft as I was tightening and messed up the first 2 threads . But after a long day I got the threads fixed and the Comanche back together. 16. Thanks man I appreciate the support, and sorry to hear that about your Old car . You're right sunrot is a better trade off
  17. Had time to work on her again , this time I decided to clean the grounds and the relay center. Replaced cap and rotor and the oil pressure sending unit. The drivers taillight was broken and held together by wire . It was time to rebond and refresh the lights. Also the passenger fender was rotted by the Vegas sun, luckily I had a spare fender just for the occasion. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Decided to clean up the carpet and re paint it and I'm really excited with the results . I also didn't like how the plastic surrounding the gauges was gray so I decided to paint it black Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Hello I'd like to introduce my newly acquired 1988 Comanche, some of you might recognize her , I had already purchased her once a few years ago and then sold it and regretted it and now I have bought her back for a whopping 900$. She runs and drives beautifully , starter seems sluggish thought and she had non functioning hazards and stop lights but that has been fixed. Plans for this is to just get her running even better , going through all of cruisers tips , and also get her repainted and swap the front end to chrome and just drive and enjoy it. This one is equipped with the 4.0 , 5 speed Dana 35
  20. Not snow but I Played in dirt
  21. they're the factory tow mirrors , I'm guessing it was a package because she came also with a d44
