the time has come , my heaters leaking . To those who have replaced their heater cores , which brand did you guys use and what were the results ? Would you buy again ? My heater cores leaking and I don't want to do the job twice. looking on rock auto theirs a spectra brand heater but some reviews appear to not be so good. I also saw this heater core which appears to be copper and I was curious if any of you guys have used it 1987 jeep Comanche 4.0 BA 10/5 factory a/c

Went out to the mountains today and everything went well the drive was 2 hours long and the truck ran really good and didn't leave me stranded but when I got home I found this nice little surprise, heater core replacement is in the future

Most I've done on a empty stretch of highway , ride wasn't as bad but the wind noise was crazy Tires are 235-75-r15

I wish I could find a speedometer that matches mine with the trip odometer!! I see you have an 87, mine is a 91, so they don't interchange. All my searching indicates they don't exist. To get the trip odometer for 1991/92 one has to go to the complete gauge cluster with the red numbers instead of blue.Yup , happy mines came with it , but I like the look of the red gauges more, I could be wrong but I think it might be part of the tow package since mines is a base but has the aux fan , d44 track lok read end,tachometer and the 4.0 , Also I think it might be an early 87 due to the hood prop rod being on the radiator support .......... Got a little off topic there lol

Is it bad if the track bar clunks when moved ? I'm having steering shimmy going 35-45 and I'm trying to look for the issue , could it be loose or is it just bad ? https://vimeo.com/151254837 * update got under and tried to tighten everything and everything appears to be on properly , under inspection I also noticed the sway bar bushing is cracked and it appears to be shrunken ?

VICTORY ! I finally fixed my low idle issue New iac from rock auto Cleaned throttle body with old toothbrush and throttle body cleaner Idle: Before After It's really odd hearing the engine run at the proper Rpms , I've never had the engine run like this but I'm glad I got the issue resolved ! Also replaced the belt After research the Goodyear gator back belt now has been renamed here's the new PN/ name

Check to see if the fuel ballast resistor is cracked or broken , jumper those two wires together and see if the jeep starts

87-90 will be the same

New member to the family , a 2014 Jeep Compass with the 6 speed , I know many might not like them , but honestly it's feels and drives good and it gets good gas mileage ,and I like the looks , I like it !

Really Small update , it's been a while but the jeep is being DD to school and it's been performing great ,the idle is a bit low but I'm positive it's the iac , the cat and exhaust has been installed , and exhaust rattle is now gone . It's a flow master cat with a walker sound fx , sounds pretty stockish but with a slightly deeper tone , also took her a bit off-road , pretty easy trail since its 2wd with a lsd Poser shot Also had the white lettering flipped on the tires , really happy with the look Later on I plan to instal new Carpet and insulation ,the old vinyl is a mess but currently gets covered with a mat interior shot for like the 1000x time because why not.

That's the one I had used and I got a leak, I made sure it sealed well , but maybe it didn't

Fuel pressure was 8 psi , took out the sending unite and somehow the hose slipped off ,bought a new clamp and put the hose back on and all is good . Bought a new lock ring and seal and put it back together and the damn thing is leaking again when the tank has more than half :( searched up cc and saw that the p/n for a tank o ring from mopar is 5300 0575 is that correct ? Will it fit my swb gas tank ?

Decided to go ahead and see how the tps and CPs were doing Tps Cps I'm gonna go ahead and I test the fuel pressure tomorrow and see what I get , I replaced the fuel pump with a carter from napa and a fuel filter with a wix 11 months ago , it can't hurt to eliminate the possibility of a bad fuel pump
