Hey man try bending the little metal piece upwards so that it can touch the little wheel that's on the lens , sometimes it might touch and it'll work and other times it Won't so try bending it upwards so It can be together firmly and make good contact . It's the little wheel that's touching the metal piece in the pic above .

If your like me and you still have your original domelights in place and there not working and your to cheap to buy those fancy euromatics then here's a write up on how to clean the contacts on the dome light Before you start make sure you have current at the connector and the fuse and light switch is good before determining its the dome light itself that's not working . Step 1 Gently with much caution (this is really old plastic ) pry up the lens with a flat head screw driver or similar tool If you can use a thinner tool , mines was kinda big and if not careful it can break the plastic [emoji53] Clean the little wheel with a flathead or sand paper untill shiny for good contact Dirty Clean While I was at it , I also cleaned the surface the metal wheel touches and where the light bulb ends touch Dirty Clean Put bulb back in Put cover back on And now back in its place working All it took me was a flathead screwdriver and some patience , Hopefully this helped you guys :)

Sorry for bugging yall but my jeep has seemed to of had developed a new issue and I need help identifying what it is ): . It sounds sounds sorta like a brake lath or kinda like a hissing metal noise , it has the sound while driving , or while coasting in neutral. (Dana44 tracklok ) I took a vid of the noise while pushing the truck with the engine off . https://vimeo.com/115887193 Thanks in advance :)

Yes , but I recently pulled the pump and the hose was split and was rotted so that's what caused the problem, decided to replace the fuel pump with a new Napa replacement while I was at it as "preventive maintenance " and all her powers back and she's running really good :) -
Thanks I appreciate it ! And yea I got it from a junkyard cherokee and cleaned it up :)

Actually you have a point about the hose , about 3 years ago the jeep had been sitting for a while and when my dad finally went and tried to start it it wouldn't start and he thought it was the fuel pump and when he finally got the fuel pump assembly out it turns out the hose had been dry rotted and iirc it was bent or something and wouldn't let gas flow or something like that , he ended up replacing the hose and that fixed the no start issue and the truck ran great . -
