Now true enough you will never see MT badges on a SWB from factory, but search long enough you will find an original SWB with same equipment, I have seen a few.

thanks They never offered a production SWB with mt springs but, Old guy lives a town over has original 91 pioneer 2wd SWB d44 mt springs it doesnt have mt badges though just pioneer, you could order any combo you wanted .

Thought I would throw up some pics of my buckets and console that's coming out this weekend. Putting the bench back in had it recovered same as buckets. I thought buckets was what I wanted , but I've missed my bench ever since its amazing how much more roomy the cab seems with a bench!

Probably went with 44 because of what HB mentioned width, the 8.8 would look really silly, and the 44 is a great axle the 8.8 (also great axle) is just an alternative for those who can't find the 44 or just want a cheaper alternative for disk brakes and gearing reasons.

I have had great luck with them never an issue, they have things you can't get anywhere else not even fleabay!

Yea, I knew prior to 87 on XJs and 86 MJs it is hit or miss with ratio, axles ,and trans but in 87 -89 fsm all that is listed that I can find is 4.56 ratio axles and AW4 behind the 2.5 with auto?

Exactly what I was wondering, not what I wanted to hear obviously, oh well we will see tomorrow. Thanks Maybe someone can confirm this, but from my research all MJs from 87 to 92 with 2.5 auto had the aw4 with 4.56. If it's there I will try to help you out.[emoji106]
