I did not think of that thanks Glad I could help. I couldn't get mine off, so I pulled the cover then pushed it out from the inside. -

You probably know this: but make sure you can remove the fill plug before you take the diff cover off. -

Trans, Electrical, Leak Problems

Check the waterpump area for your coolant leak. You'll probably see evidence of leak on the lower rad hose. Try replacing your headlight switch to cure your dash lamp problem. You don't have to take the kick panel off, but I found it very convenient to have the gauge cluster moved out of the way. -
The woman and I went there last year. Even better for us because we're geologists  Click for Bigger The Toutle Diner -- was that the place that used to be a house and is right on the river?

Grizzly Grip (bedliner) the 89 MJ
bigalpha replied to azscott's topic in Member Projects: Your Comanches
How much does a can of that roll on bedliner stuff weigh? -
I understand that feeling, man; though, I pretty much love the fact that you correlated your life to an animated gif file.

Vikings or Packers for MNF coming up? I say Vikings, even though I'm a Pack (and Favre) fan.

The best trips are those where you don't have to worry about checking in/out of hotels at specific times and you can just do what you want. Sounds like a TON of fun!!

Have you had a chance to get the motor and trans installed since your last update? I love the color that you picked for the truck.

Is that a newer year valve cover?

switching odometers from cluster to cluster....
bigalpha replied to WBKrazy's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
The speedo changed the type of cable at some point, though I'm unsure of the year. If the cable is the same, you can swap the whole speedo/odo assy over. It's what I'm doing when I swap the cluster over. -
Nobody in my town I talk to knows where the C4C vehicles go after they demo the engine. Not to Pull a Part.

Image Not Found Image Not Found I'm digging the USPS tape on the passenger door. Do you have any problems with the console lid hitting your CB? -
Those flares and windshield visor kind of make it look like a Toyota on quick glance.

"Mutually exclusive" means if it is one, it cannot be the other. The one excludes the other, and the other excludes the one. If Christianity and Creationism are mutually exclusive, then if you are a Christian you cannot be a creationist, and if you are a creationist you cannot be a Christian. Not sure, but I don't think that's what you meant. Whoops. You're right. That is not what I meant. I figured out what you meant by reading the other posts... I can't comment on the actual questions (as it is meant to read), but I do have to say... There is a lot of 'Christians' in my part of the world that will have nothing to do with Creationism. They do not read the bible and seek a literal interpretation of what is in it, but accept (if you wish) that it is a book that was complied and adapted from other literature and it features the limited scientific knowledge of the time. Thus, they ignore a large portion of it on the basis that (the feel) it was mostly just filler material to bridge the gaps of understanding in a different time. Generally, they believe in God, attend church occasionally or somewhat often, and will try to live their lives loosely around some of the more important teachings in the book. I'd say they're like 'Diet Pepsi' of Christianity, the taste and colour without a lot of the other junk. Most of them will never ask your views on God, or press theirs. They might make an occasional reference, but that's about it. And if asked about Creationism they simply state they think it's a wash, and often change the subject (unless they then decide they'd like to explain the entirety of their beliefs). If you don't include these 'Christians' in the assessment of it being the largest religion in the world, Islam would most likely be the largest. As it is, I think it's fairly debatable. If asked, I often state I'm a 'WASP', despite the fact that I don't fit the bill of being a Christian at all, however I am from a family that is/was and still identify with those that are. What's a WASP?

Not sure what's wrong with some healthy debate. Is it any different than what might be discussed around a campfire or amongst friends while wrenching together? Does a football thread belong on here? What about a thread about Marine recruiters? What about a thread full of links to videos? What about a thread about the UFC fight? Surely, that's as far away from MJ as evolution. None of those threads have anything to do MJs in the least. Any thread where people have their own personal opinions on what's right/best all have the potential to degrade into a flamefest. This includes threads on "which lift is the best" "which tires should I get", etc. Up to this point, however, the thread has stayed within the realms of a perfectly fine discussion. If I wanted to know what Creationists thought of evolution, I would have found a forum where creationists discuss it. However, I was looking for some outside thoughts and ideas - stuff that you can only get from a diverse group of people which the people in this forum are. I've already told Pete that he's more than welcome to axe the thread, since so many people don't think we should talk about anything that has a religious base to it at all on here. I'll keep that in mind when reading through the non-MJ related posts in The Pub. At any rate, that's my .02. I'm sure I'll get flamed and called stupid, etc.
