  1. Hopefully this works out OK in the end. Don't be afraid to ask for a supervisor at eBay if need be. Sometimes escalating a case to someone higher up the food chain makes a difference. There's a life lesson here either way though. You don't pay off the balance owed to a contractor until all the work is done to your satisfaction. Likewise, as a BUYER, you never leave feedback until you've had a chance to inspect your purchase and are satisfied.
  2. eBay shouldn't have let that happen. My big eBay gripe is bad buyers. I usually add one or two people to my blocked list every year. But a seller shouldn't get by with this either. Be sure to leave him negative feedback.

    Shirts

    Glad you like it!
  4. It looks like those are extruded U nuts. I first dealt with them on my tail lights. I tried linking to that topic, but did something wrong. The only place I could find them locally was Fastenal.
  5. This business is about 15 minutes from me. You can see it from I-55 as you drive down the highway. There's always a risk that I'll break my neck every time I go past! He has equal amounts of junk and really nice toys.

    Yanked?

This is Pete's sandbox we're playing in. Considering the subject thread that was removed, I think it's a natural to compare Pete to a Range Safety Officer! You may not always agree with him, but we defer to him. I'm not aware of a more friendly or helpful forum than this one. Hopefully, it stays that way. My posts on the topic went away too.
  7. I didn't want to come right out and ask...but I figured that first one ordered was headed your direction! There have been two more ordered over the last couple of days.
  8. C'mon now. You can't just tell us you picked up an 11,000 original miles Scrambler without giving us the back story! Don't be such a tease.
  9. What could possibly go wrong?
  10. Sorry, but 2XL is still as large as any of the hoodies go. That's subject to change of course, but it hasn't changed yet. Sizing is something that I have no control over. You aren't the only one making a request for something larger though.
  11. Thank YOU, and you're very welcome! It's nice to know that our efforts are appreciated. Pete, Nick, and I have been working together again and came up with a zip hoodie with logo's front and rear. That's a first for us (through Amazon at least). The ASIN is # B084KTZQ4V The dual-logo design is a little more expensive. But if members prefer that version, it may not make sense to continue with zip hoodies with a logo just on the back. I'll pay attention to what is ordered. There's no rush. I'm just thinking that even though I want us to have a variety to pick and choose from, there's such a thing as having too many choices. As of right now, we've still not had any buyers for the following items: (these are all versions without the .com) Zip Hoodie with White Logo on Back - B081V2HP61 Hoodie with Black Logo on Front - B081V2NYX5 Hoodie with White Logo on Front - B081V2HZ1X Hoodie with Black Logo on Back - B081TTV7F2 Hoodie with White Logo on Back - B081TVVYGJ Amazon gives us a year to make a sale in order to keep a design live, and none of these are over three months old. So we're nowhere close to a deadline. I just hope that somebody else likes them well enough to make a purchase at some point throughout the year. I don't need to add any more hoodies to my collection! It's something that I usually don't wear, but I have bought up a few CC items just to keep them in the Amazon catalog. Feel free to let us know your thoughts. If other versions of the dual-logo zip hoodie is something members want to buy, we can probably do that.
  12. Look under "vendors" in the classified section. A member is/was making them available.
  13. The next time members of my family say that there is nothing less realistic than my zombie shows...I'm giving them this link.
  14. Very wise on your part.
  15. That's a trip that everyone should drive once. ONCE. Keep us updated. I'm pretty close to STL.
  16. I like the Mercedes G-class, but this doesn't really work for me. Not that I can afford either one of them.
  17. If you're insisting on being a "wage slave", I don't have any advice for you other than to make sure you keep a side income. Because even "safe" jobs disappear. But if you (and/or your girlfriend) would consider being your own boss (full or part time), you might want to think about an Internet-based business. A big investment isn't required. Nor is a long period of study. Any failures can usually be kept small and cheap. Done right, it's possible to run your business from any place in the world that has an Internet connection. If you want to learn more, I endorse Jim Cockrum (silentjim.com). Jim offers up a lot if information for free (podcast and facebook group) and what he charges for is well worth the money. I don't make money with everything I've learned from him, but everything I do to make money I DID learn from him. I'm over ten years in at this point. Best of luck to you no matter what direction you decide to go in!
  18. We just added short sleeve shirts with the black logo. One with the "dot com" and one without. The first post reflects the updates.
  19. Don't be in a hurry to settle with the insurance company. It's been a long time since I've had to lock horns with them myself, but there was an instance where they tried to low ball me on payout. Making a royal pain of myself put more money in my pocket. Others with more recent experiences might have something to add to my thoughts.
  20. Sorry Dzimm, but your guess is as good as mine.
  21. That would be cool. To the best of my knowledge, no one has posted a pic of any of these actually being worn.

    Tesla's new truck

One of my sisters drove an Aztek for a spell. She couldn't understand why everybody else in the family considered it to be b*tt ugly. I'm thinking that maybe I shouldn't have dropped her on her head quite so many times when she was a baby.
  23. We just added some hoodies. These are all the plain logo (no dot com), with the logo on the back. Four of them are the pullover style. The other one is our first zip hoodie! The first post in this thread has already been updated to show the new options. Since these all went through with no problem this time, I'm going to try and resubmit our other short sleeve T's and zip hoodies in the next few days as well. Once those are approved, that may be where we stop for now. That gives us quite a bit to pick and choose from in regards to selection.
  24. Since this is digital, it may not qualify as "literature". But I'm going to post up a picture just to let other members know it exists. I like having my own documentation, but digital takes up a lot less space than a manual. I scored this off eBay a while back. I have no idea how common this sort of thing might be, or what else along these lines might be available.
  25. Or just go to Amazon and type in one of the ASIN's listed behind the shirts in the first post on this thread. Amazon's search engine has proven to be less than stellar. But those numbers listed behind the shirts should be a foolproof way to get you there. (It was a smart move on Pete's part to add that to the first post, instead of making members plod through the whole thread to find the information they were looking for.)
