  1. As of right now we have (3) long-sleeve shirt designs/colors available and (2) sweatshirt options. I'm still trying to get hoodies and some other designs/colors accepted. I'll let the club know when they are available. (Which will be when Amazon stops being so darn stupid.) The good news is that everything currently available can be found by searching Amazon for "Comanche Club" (use quotation marks). When I first get a design accepted, it can take awhile to work it's way through the Amazon catalog and become visible. Everything they have accepted so far has been there long enough now to be showing up without having to do a search through my brand name.
  2. I can't believe that this didn't generate a "you suck!" comment. I mean...I know we're nice guys and all, but still.
  3. I just LOVED the AEV Brute conversions. Especially based off the TJ's. But I just can't get excited about this. I think the four doors have lot to do with it.
  4. Amazon has been busy rejecting just as many of our submissions as they have been accepting. And they are the very same designs. That's a bump in the road that I'm working on. I noticed that we have two sweatshirts approved, but they aren't showing up in the Amazon catalog for some reason. I'll work on that too. But for right now, here are the links if you would like to check them out: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KJVQV7P https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KJVQV7H
  5. You're just one of those difficult people, aren't you Dzimm? Go stand in the corner. As a matter of fact, yes...we can have graphics on both the front and the back. It looks like it would add roughly $4. to the cost of the hoodie to do both sides. It's time for everybody else to chime in. Let us know what you really want. If we need a small logo of some kind made for the front, maybe we can plead with Nick (bluenotenick) to whip something up.
  6. We have another question for the club. The hoodies we have available to us are the "pull over" design. That means we can have our logo on either the front or the back. What's your preference? All the long-sleeve and sweatshirt designs are submitted to Amazon now and pending approval. It shouldn't be more than a day or two before they are available for purchase.
  7. Dzimm, I know for sure that I can do it in a short sleeve T. But I can already rule the sweatshirts out for now too. They don't go that large either. The hoodies I'm not sure about yet. I'm sorry. I'd really like to accommodate everybody. But keep in mind that this is all subject to change. The Amazon Merch program is still pretty new. It wasn't that long ago that short sleeve t's were the ONLY option available. Now we have all these other items too. Keep the faith. If there's a market, trust me...Amazon is going to try and fill it!
  8. The way Amazon Merch works, I have no way of knowing who placed the order. But congratulations. You're first! And by the way, feel free to give us your feedback on it. Especially if it doesn't meet your expectations.
  9. The long sleeve T-shirts are unisex. So maybe it was just the luck of the draw as to what category they would go under. Amazon is always expanding the Merch line, so maybe down the road? For right now though...sorry, no can do. Maybe we'll get luckier on the sweatshirts and hoodies that will be coming soon.
  10. The first CC design is live! We're hoping to have another design and more apparel options to pick and choose from within the next week. This one can be found at: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KBNXW2M or go to Amazon.com and search for "Bedford Falls Collection" (be sure to put it in quotes). Everything CC related will be under my brand name.
  11. Eagle, at first I thought this was just crazy. I find it hard to believe that Jeep corporate would give two hoots about us. But we have nothing to lose be trying. So I'm taking your advice and I'm trying to locate a contact person/department. I figure the worst they can do is say "no". I should clarify that we don't know for sure what issue (or issues) Amazon had with the original design. But if I was guessing, the word "Jeep" would be my first thought.
  12. It's just like the club business card, only the Comanche isn't colored in. It's a white outline, like on the coozie. Incidentally, Amazon shot down our first attempt yesterday. I'm going to try and get some specifics from them in regards to what they took issue with, in hopes that our second attempt goes a little better. I could speculate. But if they will spell it out, that's much better. I don't want to change the original design any more than we absolutely have to.
  13. Our first submission to Amazon was a long sleeve T featuring that design (in white) with the "All Jeep Comanche, All The Time!" below it. We want to see if we can get by with "Comanche" and "Jeep". If Amazon won't allow it, we'll try a more conservative approach.
  14. Correct, Pete. I think a little variety in the designs makes sense in this situation. We're looking at multiple apparel items being offered in various colors. One single design just isn't going to look best on everything. We're currently working with the old design, trying to establish if we're going to have any trademark issues with it. The original design will probably be offered in at least two color versions. And folks on here are getting creative! So we might just be looking at a new design as well. We'll take this one step at a time and try to offer a reasonable variety of colors and styles to the membership. I'm not limited in what I can submit. Nick (bluenotenick) has been doing the heavy lifting on this so far, trying to tweak designs to work with Amazon's (very specific) format.
  15. These are the prices I'm seeing on Amazon as of today. This is my cost, but you will still be responsible for shipping. If you have Amazon Prime, I guess shipping would be free. Premium short sleeve - $15.13 Long Sleeve T - $20.49 Sweatshirt - $29.74 Pullover Hoodie - $34.32 Popsockets - $12.43
  16. I guess this might be a good point to mention that I have to be REALLY careful about anything trademarked. I don't want to get spanked by Amazon (or sued by Fiat).
  17. I appreciate all the input! Pete and I are corresponding. I can get the items made, I just can't make the designs myself because I'm not really a "graphics" guy. I'll take a look at the files that Pete can send my way and see what we can do. Please feel free to keep giving me your ideas/suggestions/requests. I'll be back with updates whenever there is something to report.
  18. EDIT: this is the last post in the thread with updated options and numbers: Hey Guys, I got the OK from Pete to put out feelers, so I'm looking for your input. I have an Amazon Merch (Amazon's Merchandise division) account. I'm offering to make items available at my cost with the Comanche Club logo and/or designs on them. What I have access to right now are: Premium T-Shirts, Long Sleeve T-Shirts, Sweatshirts, Pullover Hoodies, and Pop-Sockets (those little buttons that attach to the back of your smart phone) Amazon also has "Standard" T-Shirts, but I'm concerned that they might be "cheap", so I'm not offering those up. Any of the items listed would be available for purchase directly through Amazon. Personally, I like the logo that's on the business card. But what would YOU be interested in enough to spend some money on it? I can always add designs and clothing options later. So what you would be interested in "soon" is more valuable to me than what you might consider "later". If you give me your input, I'll work with Pete and we'll see what's doable. Ron
  19. This wasn't an easy part to find. But I finally came up with one at https://www.storksplows.com/ They rebuild Jeep transmissions and transfer cases, so consider them as another resource. My shift arm arrived today and it looks almost EXACTLY like the one I already have! So I'm going to assume that as nasty as this looks, it's not a problem. Now I know. If it's common for the machining to run out of material at the edge of this particular casting though, I'm a bit surprised that nobody else on here has run across it yet. Back to rebuilding my tranny.
  20. Jeep Driver, there was a nylon cover in place when I bought the tranny. But I can't vouch for what has happened over it's lifetime. FWIW, the hole doesn't look to be elongated though. It just looks like they ran out of metal when they were doing the machining of the part and nobody caught it. Being run without the nylon cover is still a possibility. But I can't rule out either a bad casting or that it was machined a little too deep. It might not hurt anything. But the lack of an intact "cup" concerned me.
  21. Thanks Pete. You may be right about it just being a bad casting. But I figured even if it was, the machined "cup" at the bottom should be complete. I've never been inside a tranny before though, so what do I know? Maybe somebody with more experience will have some input.
  22. This is the part that the ball on the lower end of the shifter sits down into. I can't find a part number or a seller for a new part. Apparently, these aren't supposed to go bad. But I'm rebuilding a tranny and the one that came out just doesn't look like something I want to put back in there. Thanks! Ron
  23. I'm really liking the way you kept the early steering wheel, but swapped in the later hvac controls! I see lots to like, but that combination really caught my attention. Be sure to keep us updated.
  24. Sorry for the misinformation. I TOTALLY missed the BA10 part. Yeah, you would need to swap out the tranny too.
  25. I'm sure that someone else will chime in with more experience than I have, but I know one thing for sure. This is one area where you don't want to just replace factory parts. IF you're still running the factory configuration, you have an internal slave. To replace it is a lot of work, which includes pulling the tranny. As long as you're doing that, you might as well swap in the external slave parts. If you ever need to mess with the slave again, you'll be able to do it from outside the bellhousing. A simple search should give you more details. I'm still in the process of doing mine, so it's a little early for me to be making any personal recommendations on parts.
