  1. Do you have a picture of the diff cover ? There is an informative picture thread that has pics of all the diff covers identifiying what axles you have.
  2. ^^ Thanks Don and Tim!! I am really honored to be part of the MJOTM club with all of the other beautiful Comanches . I believe there are many other Comanches more deserving of this , but I guess that all of the people that campaigned otherwise disagree lol.
  3. If there is a demand for other colors , like over 20 pairs I can possibly have them made . I can't assure the colors would match perfectly though . I went with black because it will match the lower seat handle and blend with all the colors best . I don't know how interior dye would hold up...
  4. Look up Babyblack86 , he has and knows several more diesels .
  5. Pull the distributor cap and make sure the rotor is turning . The oil pump is driven by the camshaft and the cam is driven by the crank via the timing chain . IMO if you already have the pan dropped and the oil pump accessible I would replace it regardless . I would never let a vehicle sit for 5 years without changing the oil and starting ./ driving it occasionally , even if it's around the block . Many things can go wrong when a vehicle sits for an extended period of time .
  6. Kook 911 : The parts are 100% fill and made of abs plastic, and they are made thicker in the prone to cracking areas around the screw holes and the whole base is thicker . I myself paid $40 for the drawing and I'm fronting the money to have them made .when they are made I will take time out of my day to have them shipped to you . These are not being mass produced and take 6hours a piece to make . I have no control over shipping . I understand that people may have issues with the cost but if you don't like the price you don't have to buy them as I said in my first post . I'm not trying to come off as rude , but I don't think paying 30 shipped for a pair of something that cannot be purchased at the dealer or found at a junkyard intact is a bad price . Can someone tell me what these cost at the dealer for new ones ? Fwiw I have orders for 25 pair from people^^ that don't seem it's a bad price .
  7. Solder it , heat shrink it and be done . Those connectors are garbage . Or put a weatherpack connector in it's place .
  8. I wonder how he knows it's the lowest mileage on the west coast .
  9. I haven't used them ,but go to eBay and type in "etched rocker switch " . They look nice but are like $14 a piece . But on the other hand the factory switches are like $50 a piece from Borg Warner .
  10. People that have pm'd me , please wait to send me any questions with paypal info . This is to get a count of how many I need to have made . Once I get them made then I will post an ad in the for sale section and the you can pay . I just didn't want to have hundreds of these and only selling 5 pair lol. I'm up to 20 sets as of now !!
  11. Spicer x 2 . I've always had great luck with them and it's what the factory uses .
  12. My neighbor is currently going to school for plastic 3d printing , and he is the one who makes them when time permits . These pieces are around the lever that tilts the bucket seats forward in both Mjs and 2 door Xjs .
  13. Bluexj pictures will be later tonight . Sorry I thought I wrote that but I didn't . Dillithium : they are built thicker with ABS and more dense on the backside that faces the seat , where they are prone to cracking . The originals had no thickness which is why they cracked IMO . When installing them I would not overtighten the screws as it' serves no functional purpose .
  14. This is to gauge how many people would like to PURCHASE these plastic 3d printed trim bezels . Besides the ones in the pictures none have been made so when I go to have them made I'd like to know how many people to make them for . These break on almost every MJ and 2 Door XJ and cannot be found at any dealer or junkyard . Price is $25 + shipping , so probably around 30 for a pair shipped. If your not sure about buying them I can have more made in the future so wait until you're ready to say yes . I will then post in the for sale section when the have been made . As of now they will only be made in black . Maybe other colors if demand is high . If anyone would like to post this on Naxja I'd appreciate it as I'm not a member . Thanks to everyone in advance. 15. Thanks Bo . Even if the mystery oil prolongs replacing them till summer when it's not 10 degrees out its a plus . Thanks again .
  16. My friend has a 90 4.0 xj with 120 k miles on it and the lifters make quite a bit of a clacking noise at idle .His oil pressure is at roughly 25 lbs at idle and slowly climbs up to 40-45 at higher rpms ( 2500-3000) Just seeing what can be done in terms of oil , additives etc before replacement . Thanks in advance .
  17. I have the DRB hookup but not the display , kinda looks like it connects to the black plug . I've never seen the whole setup before..needless to say I'd be interested .
  18. In addition to the 87-96 mj / xj radio , you can add a fm modulator that will allow you to play an mp3 or anything that uses a 3.5 mm headphone jack . This will allow you to play both and the wiring can easily be hidden so it doesn't get stolen .
  19. When I read the fault codes for my mj with the 95 xj driveline I checked with the key and scanner , all codes were the same . Its easier to see a list of codes then count flashes . I don't know if you can watch a live stream data either , but that would be an advantage...
  20. Yep , just fixed it lol. DRB-3?
  21. I have an old Drb factory scan tool . It's missing the display , which I'm still looking for....
  22. It can be annoying , but there is always going to be something that annoys you or me . I don't like when people call a Comanche a Manche or when someone butchers a nice truck . I don't like man cheese as someone on here put it , But to each his own ....
  23. What about a 97+ style bumper with the newer ends matched up to the older flares? I like the rear bumper design . I have pics of what it would look like from one of my old trucks .
