Carpet and Headliner Question?
Oizarod115 replied to over2land's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
how do you get the headliner board out of your truck in one piece? mine's up there i assume, green, ugly, and non-carpeted ;) never really minded much and while we're at it can someone PLEASE fix that darned link thats makin my lazy butt scroll to read this thread :D  -
have you tried it from another compy? oh yeah, and that (expletive) is bad as hell man, i would keep it on the road though. DD duty :brows: loss of gas mileage would = loss of speeding/laying drag tickets.

Reversing a Lift Kit - and shock recommendations
Oizarod115 replied to 87MJJeep's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
a little bit of both with the tires, most companies aren't actually 31's so they might've been 30.5ish or so, other companies are closer to advertised height. for shocks, don't go with procomp es9000 i can tell you that much ( ;) they were used and cheap... ) old man emu makes the best out there, and other companies like monroe are good -
its a SWB platform?

Oizarod115 replied to Joe Jeep's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
if the rear bleeder screws are rusted solid can't you replace the wheel cylinders for a few bucks? and have new bleeders? i state this in question form cause i've never done it but I'm pretty sure i've heard it before ;) -

comanche cherokee interchange
Oizarod115 replied to cromanyak's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
the floor is the difference, the tranny hump should be the same. the MJ has extra bracing that caps off the framerail (right guys?) and the bracket is clearanced to sit on top of that and on the other lower part of the floor whereas the XJ brackets are just flat across the floor. i have the "rocking" laredo 4door seats, and I'm very pleased with the ride (best seat for comfort IMHO) but they do sit high, one could cut the bracket down and get a lower seating postition if they were to tall or didn't like it (or just use the regular flat-seats) -
Transmission button on dash

we leave the xj in comfort mode, shifts smooth as butter, and i've heard comfort saves gas cause it doesn't rev as high :dunno: either way it a xj on 35s... gas mileage has long since been null and void. but the switch is nice, tap power mode and she kicks it in for up-the-hill action or passing and such -
a girl once made me watch the musical "rent" over and over.. i only like a couple scenes, and thats cause theirs a manche parked on the street they live on
-
the cases should be within 1" overall length. so you probly won't have to change D/s length unless you do a serious lift at the same time
-

i got friends that play FF, but I'm not real big into sports, i'll play a game of backyard tackle any day, just don't care to watch anything unless its fast, high-octane, and on a ROAD course.

Oh no! Another 2.8 -> 4.0 question!
Oizarod115 replied to Joop's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
its a unibody truck so the frame and body are one up by the cab but behind there its a decent frame with the bed bolted on like a normal truck. so yeah the floor is part of the frame sorta. -
done a tune up recently? my truck started doing this out of NOWHERE felt like someone dropped 400lbs in the back then at idle i had to give it gas it was idling so low and shuddering like it would cut out did a tune up, cap, rotor, plugs, and it runs fine again... (and the last tune up had only been about 5k back, plus everything looked fine)
