OMG The Crewcab 6x6 Comanche

I may need to swing out and get a closer look at this thing 🤔 monster garage, where's the fridge going? -
That's what I wanted someone to say to justify myself doing it. Sounds like me, solve current issues and deal with any new ones as they come up. If I get 10 years out of a header I'd be damn impressed wrapping or not. 😆 I'm wrapping it tonight and wet and glass like.

Coolant Filter Install
MiNi Beast replied to Blaine.D's topic in MJ Tech: DIY Projects and Write-Ups
never seen a coolant filter on these. but I like the idea. I just installed new radiator and hoses with overflow tank. I had some wicked colors in my system but not green. I'm thinking the failure was in the stock radiator, hence the upgrade. I eliminated heater core as well to rule out this also a failure point. so I just looped the the hose back, however I could easily mount this filter setup in place and i think i just might. can't hurt I reckon. what might one expect to pay for this filter setup? -

so after sleeping the last couple days I'm finally up and around. Got the front end put back together and verified the locker does work. Excited to get out and try it. Other then getting new exhaust hung and connected i think I'm good to go out and play this coming weekend. And even cooler is I will feel more legitimate since now I'll be carrying my membership coin compliments of Pete M. Was excited to awake to that package. Never seen these coins until a few weeks ago. Very cool indeed. -
But the hole is already in the door frame??

Horror stories? I perfer the remans as they are cheap and carrier a lifetime or year warranty, which is great for someone hard on equipment with the riggers of being in a kinds of harsh elements. Not to mention availability typically good for them fellas like me and want my part now when I'm There to get it. -
nice. How so you get those bands to tighten?

Drop a new alt in if can easily done for around 80. Or just put some machine oil on bearings and run it till she blows. Tighten the belt but to much tension can cause bearings to have additional load and can fail prematurely. Ensure quality of serpentine belt as well. And save old belt for backup. -
Did I over pay???LOL still glad i bought it..lol
