99-04 ARE the WJs. before that, the grand cherokees were called ZJs and after that, WKs. and yes, 99-04 all use the same arms. :thumbsup:

I bought a car trickle charger and mounted it inside. there's lots of room under the seat. :D and now the front of the Jeep has some storage space. :yes:

brought down my extra battery with me this lat trip to GA (slowly moving from MI). when my dad mentioned that his van seems to be getting hard to start I did some measuring and sure enough my extra fit (just barely) in the tray. so I swapped them out (van starts great now) and wondered if the van's battery would fit in the lawnmower (which sometimes struggles to turn over). sho'nuf it fit perfect. :D more than doubled the CCA. then I looked at this newly liberated lawn tractor battery and wondered if it would fit in the power wheels jeep. It was a tight fit, but it's in there. probably doubled its range. :D everybody wins!

with all the times I've taken my local code enforcer to court, I can only imagine the fun I'd be having with a homes owners' @$$ociation. :rotf: one of my favorite things about this new home in GA is the compete lack of caring about what your neighbor is doing on his acre. :yes: some places look like a car exploded in their yard. others look like a tornado dumped a toys-r-us store on them. the one up the road looks like they had a yard sale a few years ago and forgot to bring in their stuff. :dunno: admittedly most houses in the sub look ok, but I find great happiness in knowing that no one is going to call the cops simply because of something stupid like an un-plated MJ sitting in the drive. this is my acre, that is your acre. semi-rural living at it's finest. :cheers:

I think MRIs are worse. they use a jackhammer to open up your skull. :ack: and I'm not totally sure, but I don't think they put it all back. some parts of my brain seem to be missing. :hmm: at least that would explain the sloshing sound when I sneeze. :yes:

I would grab the rear axle too and go for the gearing upgrade. :thumbsup:

there are pluses and minuses to everything and splitting up into a bunch of little forums brings its own problems. one is getting people to look at them all (it's harder than you might think). the more eyes that see a thread, the better the chance of someone with the right answer replying. another is going through 19,200 old posts so they show up in searches in the appropriate forum.
