the front driveshaft will always turn with the front tires, not the t-case. :thumbsup: the CAD design was a silly attempt by Jeep to increase fuel economy and decrease wear. It does neither of those things in any measurable way and always breaks when you need it most. :fs1: that's why Jeep threw it out as the 90s went along. it was just a big mistake. :doh:

it shouldn't :thumbsup: just need the slide collar inside to go from unlocked to the locked position.

4 wheel drive is controlled by your transfer case. Bypassing the CAD simply makes it like any jeep made after 93 ish. :D

yup, I had the same puzzling issue and swapping in a booster solved it. :thumbsup:
