    88 MJ with ~5.5" lift, 78 bronco 44/9", 33x12.5s on 15x8 steelies. front susp is ford radius arms, rear is SOA with some tired 2wd leafs plus a second main as an aal.

    same as the rear, with the plastic pipe as spacers and lock rings to retain the assembly. I'll see if I can get my father to send me a pic of it.

    Yes it is 2" of tire but you only gain 1" of ground clearance. For a DD I would go 33's, especially with only 4.10 gears. :yeah that: to me the extra inch wasn't worth the hassles.

    either I didn't get stuck, or I was going to be stuck regardless of the extra 1 inch of tire lift. besides, more tire equals more headaches (mpgs, breakage, wear, fender stuffage, etc).

    got 33s under my 88 (4.0/stick/4.10s/6"lift) and not once while wheeling have I ever wished I had 35s. :dunno:

    I feel your pain since I'm kinda in the same boat. just can't take them all with me for this move to GA. though I am trying hard to bring my low mile renix block... I say keep the 4.0, unload the rest. :thumbsup:
