if it has an @address with it (instagram addy), it's from the OP, Grinch. we couldn't figure out a way to automatically insert it here so I do it manually. the other are from my personal collection of MJ images from the almighty interwebs (google, FB, pintrest, etc). someday I'll dig up the old folder from back in the day when it was HARD to find MJ images (20 years ago).

need some daytime shots did you plate the whole frame or just the locations where the tube meets it?

I still say it's as much of a "truck" as that 4 door f150 that just drove by my house. or either of the caddy/linc trucks. It's not bad. it just could have been so much more... (for example, where's the v8? or the turbo v6? or any engine that would make me look twice!)

got sick of the stupid factory acorns falling apart so I found a set of longer, solid lugnuts for like 13 bucks. Couldn't pass that up! Had the choice of black or chrome and went with black for some contrast. truly an epic upgrade.

you'll be fine with either drivesahft. Just don't get any from 86 or earlier as they are a spindly little thing. also, put some basic details of your truck in your signature

my cousin recently bought his first brand new vehicle. very proud of him! He wanted a work truck; regular cab with an 8ft bed. eventually got a Ram Tradesman from 3 states over because they were so hard to find. seems no one is buying them so they aren't on the lots? this Jeep isn't much different than than any of the other 1/2 ton trucks I see on the road. 4 doors and a short bed. for better or for worse, they are everywhere and very popular. I predict Jeep sells every single one they can make for the first few years.

indeed. she needs armor. and a lift. I have a plan for the first. the latter takes a goodly chunk of money and will have to wait.

that's one thing about the CRD, removing the oil filter is so easy even a rock or tree root could do it! while you're driving! I really need to get a skidplate for that thing...

I think the article said 3k over a similarly equipped wrangler. somewhere around 55k for a fully decked out Gladiator Rubicon.

looks like a 4door wrangler with a little bed on the back. no surprises there. 7700 towing 1600 payload.

it's impressive. no doubt about that. In theory there's no reason why a Jeep can't do it, but a whole lot can go wrong to stop it short.

so close!! sometimes it's the little tidbits at the end that seem to take the longest.
