  1. found this the other day. It's a white-as-white-can-be sweatshirt so I'm not sure when I'll ever wear it, but I just couldn't resist.
  2. there are a lot of variables in play here (backspacing, fender cutting, bump-stopping, etc), but given the right circumstances: yes, it is possible.
  3. I was waiting for it to get a little further along but man that paint certainly qualifies on its own!
  4. I use the phrase "rabbit hole" all the time when I pull up Spotify on my laptop. soooooo much blues music out there!
  5. I'll move it over to Tech so more eyes will see it.
  6. there's one in Epic Tech honestly though, it's infinitely easier to simply install a child seat in the MJ or buy another Jeep for those times you need the seats.
  7. nice!
  8. a guy named jon buchanan has claimed ownership on FB.
  9. yup, it's super easy. caster is the relative angle of the ball joints to vertical, and the tops/bottoms of the Cs (or balljoints) are essentially perpendicular to the balljoint line.
  10. don't look at me. I pull them from a large folder full of random pics saved at random times over the years.
  11. start a build thread for your truck and share as you go
  12. no one make a complete on-piece floor pan. and the ones available are kinda minimal and frequently don't cover the entire hole.
  13. what year is the harness from? be sure to include your truck's new specs in your signature
  14. what the heck? all those problems fixed and still no change? just use it as an anchor and install one of these:
  15. it was worth it
  16. yup, if you want one that is both nice and cheap, then you need to be super diligent and maybe a bit lucky. It's just a fact that prices have gone up. (this can actually be seen as a good thing as more trucks and parts are being saved that would otherwise have been crushed, but it sucks when you're trying to get in to the hobby. ) Cali is one of the best places to be, as trucks that are very solid are far more plentiful than in the midwest and so don't carry as much value.
  17. every single applicable fix (not all years have the same issues) from Cruiser needs to be done to every MJ so after you find the problem at hand, don't stop.
  18. like, the very same day... this year?! congrats!
  19. there is no way to control the timing (except for the CPS mod that ticks the computer and gives it a tiny bit of advance). like any modern FI system, the computer controls the timing for you and tweaks in in real-time for the best results. but computer failures are rare. more common is a simple sensor gone bad, fuel pumps, vacuum leaks, or wiring issues (grounds are a real problem). For example, the fuel pump grounds behind the taillight and corrosion there can cause all sorts of wonky things to happen. If you haven't yet, see the link in my signature and find Cruiser's MJ tips. most are wiring related.

    Solid rear window

hard to say as most guys seem to want the slider.
  21. just to expand on the second bit, technically the timing can be "off" (for example if the distributor or timing belt is off a tooth) but you cannot tweak it a degree or two like older engines as the computer will always try to put it where it wants it.
  22. there are sensor testing procedures in the link in my sig. timing is controlled by the computer.
