  1. this new generation of battery powered tools is an absolute game changer. make that life changer.
  2. I've set a new record for the MJ trailer. 2 whole 4.0s, 1 aw4, 2 242s, 2ton engine hoist, engine stand, plus some random skidplates and a half-freezer. oh, and my childhood schwinn (green with the banana seat). I guess I'm not allowed to question the strength of those frame welds ever again. I did have to leave my spare CRD bare block behind.
  3. I'm hoping that next year I'll be able to hit up more shows. this year kinda sucks.
  4. but it only produces extra HP if you take it on a trail as for CRD news, I picked up a transmission skidplate off a junkyard crd on this latest trip north. gotta clean it (had like an inch of sludge on it) and bend the one tab a bit, but it's rust free. I wasn't even the first to find it in the yard, but I was the first to show up with a grinder to cut that last bolt that was spinning 'round and 'round. battery powered grinder for the win!
  5. pretty sure the link in my signature has a thread or 2 on the column shift, but not sure if it has the exact photo you're looking for.
  6. what's the plan for getting the 95 computer to talk to the 98 gauges?
  7. one of our members used an oven to soften the glue.

  9. can you name another NOS item that's available, within my price range, and looks good on the wall?
  10. done
  11. of course not. that would make sense. but you can make a new one out of similar materials.
  12. couple good whacks with a sledge will clearance the firewall. not sure what a shop would charge for that though.
  13. the foam bit that seals around the hole where the hvac assembly goes through the firewall
  14. you forgot to snap a pic of the floors those sawsall cuts are mine. got that far on the rocker and one bedside before I got a call that my meeting was being stepped up an hour and so had to drop everything and leave with just the flares.

yeah, then ignore the paint color. the code should be correct though. it just now applies to both your white, and some other Chrysler vehicle's black.
  16. ahh, the joys of old Jeeps. have you replaced the HVAC seal?
  17. if failure was never an option, it wouldn't be a hunt, it'd be a shopping trip. all part of the game.
  18. your complete build sheet is much longer than what you see. the early years have a lot of lost info that never got into Chrysler's computers. (check the later MJ years and you'll see how long it should be) but you might still have your original paper sheet in the truck! common locations are inside the door panel, behind the rear carpet panel, stuffed under a seat or up under the pass side dash.
  19. if there was legal a way to acquire it, I'd find a way to mount it. but nos stuff is just getting way out of reach. I've been insanely lucky to get the stuff I've got.
  20. almost scored an argent grille but that fell though so I went with the backup plan. and yes, I realize it's now 2 walls of NOS. but I'm not changing the name.

It's a trim package for the Jeep renegade. the code was reused by chrysler a few years back. according to my code sheet it was the "offhighway package"
  22. get on it! don't wait for someone to ask for it, get it out into the internet so people can find it for decades to come.
