    Got it!

    woo-hoo!!!
  2. this is way newer than any old Jeep we're familiar with. WK era or newer. I got to crawl under a Commander today and it definitely doesn't go to its rear hook assembly.
  3. what's the caster set to? was that photo taken when flexing? if so, can you snap a pic of that area when the truck is static?
  4. the axles are the same width, but the MJ has a wide butt and the bed is wider than the body at the front. got any pics of where the tire is rubbing? is it touching during flexing? turning? yes, the dana 35 could be had with a limited slip. anyone know if it's possible that a lunchbox locker would do that?
  5. definitely possible its simply a brace I removed from the back of a Jeep while digging out a tow hook and chucked in the wheelbarrel because why not. @jdog does this number mean anything to chrysler? 79983-c 0143aa
  6. I guess I should call it a brace, not a bracket. definitely looks like something I pulled along with a rear hook, but I can't find any evidence of that.
  7. tubular and about a foot long with a bolt hole at one end and a stud on the other. was in my box of Jeep tow hooks. probably from a rear hook? they usually have a side support. looked through each type of Jeep and cannot find an image showing this exact bracket (the WJ has one that that's shorter and the WK has one that isn't tubular). and google does not give me a result by looking for the number (also tried a mopar site). the # is stamped into the tube. any ideas?
  8. woo-hoo!! what an adventure! let's see if he gets an email: @xjrev10

    Roll Call!

  14. sounds like a great build!
  15. I thought it was only the HO years that got that?
  16. I always wanted to own a tow dolly with electric brakes.
  17. I don't believe the side lights should be blinking in any way.
  18. check inside the bulb sockets. corrosion can creep in, or sometimes the little tab at the bottom can collapse and no longer make contact.
  19. uhaul is a good idea, anything they have should easily do it. although that $1 per mile is painful
  20. normally they have a vacuum or an inert gas inside. I'm not sure how the bulb will react with regular air/moisture content.
