I... don't know why I didn't think of that.:doh: Although that still doesn't fix the problem of the shifter cable rubbing against one or the other. I wonder how many other people have done this swap on a column shift auto..? Maybe the WJ swap would've been easier.

Still looking for help if anyone has done this before. I kinda don't want to have to run new fuel hardline, but if I must, then it is what it is...

I'm currently doing a 95-96 Brake Booster and MC swap on my '87 Short Bed Auto, and I was wondering if anyone has any tips on rerouting the shifter cable and the fuel line that goes over the wheel well. They're contacting the booster, and I'm worried about possible issues down the road from the fuel line getting a hole worn in it and spraying fuel all over everything (like the exhaust 0_0).
