  1. absolutely!
  2. whatever you do, you better make sure the path through the firewall is sealed up good and tight. or water WILL find a way in.
  3. plus a true 2 wheel drive in the winter!
  4. the guys in rust-free areas are spoiled
  5. looks like I gotta splurge on one more squirrel guard. they seem to love the mealworms.

just armor up that @$$ and let it drag
  8. there's some sort of hiccup in the various forum and phone softwares that does that. we still don't know what.

you can just tip your head under the front of the bed. the stock mounts look like this. note that it looks like something should bolt to it? yours will have something there. specifically the second half that the rollbar then bolts to.
  10. with factory tow package you get 5k. without it you get like 2k. plus each state has rules about the towed vehicle having it's own braking system for emergency separation (usually anything over 3k, but it varies).

    How old are you?

aw, snap. apparently I just bumped up to a new age bracket. I was like 22 when I found the old MJ Yahoo group.
  12. good choice! if I didn't know any better, I wouldn't think it's the same truck. it's come a looooong way.

if it had a bar from the factory, it would have the extra rollbar mounts found between the frame and the bed. a lot of info was lost before chrysler got it into the computers (something about a basement flood), so your full build sheet is actually much longer.
  14. I've got no idea if those are hard to find or not. I'm more interested in clean steel because I understand rust and what it does to Jeeps.
  15. I'm a fan of rust free items that I can take north with me and clean 2dr stuff is about as hard to get as MJ stuff
  16. when you're done with it, I'll swing by and slice off those useless rockers for you. maybe those doors too...
  17. spacious!
  18. if you're really ambitious, the fuel injection from a Camaro 3.4L is possible but it means stripping the block down to the block and heads, and honestly I would go the step further and trashing the entire block for a 3.4L block too. links to that swap are in the link in my signature.
  19. anything 92 is rare. anything Eliminator is rare. anything beyond that is just icing on the cake I'm glad to see this one in the hands of someone who will give her some TLC. be sure to get her in the registry so we can see her birthday.
  20. that means you'll need an early 242 if you want to mate to the Peugeot. 87-90ish XJ. car-part.com might be able to find you one.
  21. this stuff? and what was the temp for the oven? for the life of me I can't find that thread.
  22. AWD is the best thing ever (although all types of AWD are not created equal). My Liberty has the 242 and has been in AWD since '07. well, except for a handful of lo-range escapades.
  23. does it make an audible click each time? and do you have 12volts at the headlight sockets when the headlight switch is pulled out, but the hi beams are off?
  24. have you tried pushing directly on the switch with your finger?
