    this is what I've got so far, from my own 'gates plus some pics I found online.

    pretty sure they were on them, as I feel everyone probably was in an era so close to where cocaine/heroin/etc was in everything. smoked pork or a grilled steak? (assuming all charcoal/woods and no propane or griddle)

    the 27 spline is the weaker of the 8.25s (the later model one having thicker shafts with 29 splines), but I'd still take it over the dana 35 any day

    I'd rather get a new 3.4L. the old 2.8 had a lot of shortcomings in metallurgy and oiling passages that were fixed by the time the 3.4 rolled out. the 3.4 is a better engine.

    Doesn't have to be an AMC, or legible, or even the original selling dealership. I feel we should collect them all before they are repainted and lost forever.

    got inspired when I brought home a tailgate from this trip and the poor sticker was faded away. so in the coming days I'm going to hunt down all I can find, either in the barn or in my photo archives. what's on your truck? this particular one is from my newer 88
