    be sure to grab the tailgate strap bolts.

    I do believe there's a thread in the link in my signature that explains how to change the ODO if you'd like to make it something more accurate. assuming anyone even knows what is accurate.

    does it have a full cluster or the idiot light cluster? a better cluster can be swapped in pretty easy.

    got it. have you drilled out the old bolt yet?

    so put a little winch in there. it's insane how often they are useful. doesn't need to be big or expensive. I've got a 5k "ATV" winch in my Liberty. works great as a "farm winch" around the property.

    the black dash trim is common enough that you can just buy an intact one if you choose. I won't lie, a part of me wants to save those door panels.

    just cut them slowly and cool the assembly off as you go. I used a grinder with a cutoff blade and had no issues with the rubber getting hot. it was easy.

    I know you know what you're doing. just razzin' ya. is that the factory air cleaner? was it typically that tiny back in the day? I'm pretty sure I've seen more square inches on a lawn tractor!

    getting into 1st and reverse could be an issue with the clutch not fully disengaging.

    it's always possible it's a reused code that applies to some other chrysler car, but it's certainly worth a looksie.
