my suggest for new-to-you 35 year old trucks is always to leave it alone and drive it a while. weed out all the potential gremlins before you introduce more with reconstructive surgery to the suspension.

I used a cruise control switch bracket back when I did my 90 and a brake switch from a grand waggy to trigger it. that was over a decade ago though, so I'm not sure if I have pics. I'll hunt around.

working on a member's truck and her dash is... very southern. so I'm on the lookout for a northern dash to swap in. barring a color-match I'm sure I can find a grey one this next trip north, but figured I'd see if anyone knows of a cordovan dash in a yard between here and detroit.

the dashpad surface is insanely brittle. I mean, on some of them you can push your finger through. gotta be super duper careful removing those top phillips screws so you don't touch the pad itself. I recommend buying one of these:

a stock 2.5L/auto had 4.56 and 27" tires. it's not as crazy as it sounds. it's just more than we're used to.

are the leafs still 3+1?

they will be few and far between because it can be hard to find a use for an MJ that can't be accomplished with a SRW.
