    i got a new toy

Portable you say? :brows: Any chance it runs on 110v?
  2. The last time I had to get tires that big balanced I had purchased the rims at Belle Tire and the mounting/balancing was free. :D I know, I know, that's really not all that helpful, but I also know that mounting and balancing is generally $15 each at Belle Tire.
  3. Ok, I fixed the avatar. :D Back to your regularly scheduled program...
  4. Hmmm. I thought there was a limit on the size of the avatar that would prevent uploading big pics. :hmm:

    yay DD!

It's not officially "cool" until you get a big ol' wing on the back or one of these: :D
  6. Gear swaps are magical. :D
  7. that what i am thinking to i mean very little lift locker and some good tow point and go like mad. I do have that mini-spool that's comin' outta my 88's front Dana 44. I could easily throw that into the back of the 90 for trails. :brows:
  8. I think it's the registering part that screws it up. Plenty of other sites where you need to sign up won't allow hot-linking the photos. :(
  9. No freaking WAY!! I uninstalled quicktime with the intention of trying again and just for the heck of it I went to the U-toob page and now it works! Oh happy day! I'm not touching quicktime again until something pops up that I can't view. And even then I better really really want to view it. By the way that's a heck of a path there. Makes me want to throw lockers in my stock-looking '90 and go kick some butt. :D
  10. If I could afford to replace it, I would. :D
  11. I've tried that but nothing changed, so I went back and reinstalled it. No change. I've screwed around with every setting I can find and there's no change.
  12. Anyone else ever have trouble viewing youtube movies? All I get is a big blue 'Q' with a question mark over it. Quicktime sucks. :hateputers:
  13. Email it to me and I'll do it for you. petermontie@hotmail.com
  14. After flipping the buckets around, they were still this far off on my truck: and they bowed the coil forward too. I made some wedges to fix the bow and then later on I cut and angled the bump stop tower to match the axle. Eventually I had this: I don't want to clog up cocco78's post with my pile of rust, so you can see all the photos here: http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/view?p=999&gid=4940732&uid=512063
  15. if i could find one, what year would be ideal Depends if you want to use the Ford radius arm suspension. The 75-77 F-150 has welded-on radius arm mounts and they are easy to cut off. The 78-79 F-150 and fullsize Bronco have cast-in mounts that are pretty much impossible to remove. The 77 and earlier Broncos have narrower "Jeep-width" axles, but are low pinion front and have weaker 9" rear axles. In 1980, the F-150 and Bronco went to the TTB front axle.

    sweet

There's nothing wrong with 235s and 3.73s. Heck, 2.5L Jeeps came with 225 or even 215 and 4.10s. :D The extra gearing sure makes the truck more fun to drive.
  17. I paid a bit more for my parts-Bronco, but it had with the same striping. :D
  18. It's from 85/86. Seems to be some sort of magazine insert since it folds up to 8.5x11 and has info on both sides. :dunno:
  19. Carly just can't get enough of the A/C. She will sit there half-asleep for long periods of time just sniffing away. My other dog could not care less. Both like sniffing out an open window.

    new puppy

Rocky could use someone to chase around besides me. :D He might even mellow out a bit with a younger dog in the house. Sorta taking on the "older brother" mentality.
  21. I like the 2 tone idea. :D I did mine in bedliner. Right now it's the only thing holding my rockers together. :(
  22. I wired my fan to a switch (through a relay) and I leave it on all the time. It won't hurt the fan, but you should probably still find out why it's doing that. Ya never know when it might decide to stop coming on. (that's what prompted me to wire in the switch) :D
  23. It's tougher than you think when you have the little shade thingies at the top of the window.
  24. Halfdoors would have come in handy when I couldn't open the door due to mud/trees/canyon walls/etc.
