  1. Well, my last 2 guys have started playing their game, but since I'm down 55 to 110, I doubt I'll be getting a win this week. I blame Tom Brady for all this. Ya hear that Tom? I hate you. I hate you and your bum leg.
  2. You guys might be off the hook for tonight. I've figured out why they haven't replied. Seems the email was never sent. It's not in my "sent" folder. So I resent it and am waiting again. :hateputers:
  3. holy COW are these things hard to weed! I got the first sample of a 10" long decal and I gotta say it needs a wee bit of refining before I'm willing to weed 20 of them. What works on a business card doesn't necessarily work well on a decal. Tomorrow I'll go back and see what he can do to merge a few of the lines and simplify it a bit.

    Chicks!

Looks like a shaved spot for a shot or maybe a blood sample was taken.
  5. Alright! A little brother/sister for the older one to pick on! :D
  6. I'm under the impression that the auto and manual trans crossmembers are the same. Just the trans mount and maybe the location is different. But since you're going with a trans that never made it into an MJ or XJ, you might need to go custom. I haven't looked uner the dash in awhile, but I don't think there's a "clutch pedal cable". Jeep transmission have a hydraulic clutch action. You'll need the slave-to-master hydraulic assembly. I don't know how the NSG-370 slave compares to the older transmission slaves. And I always enjoy shifting gears. :D
  7. You might want to mention which town it's in. Or at least which state.
  8. one of my trucks has an ignition that turns backswards and without a key. I just call it an anti-theft device and ignore it. :D (mine doesn't drain the battery when off though)
  9. Well, looks like I'm going to lose another one. Unless my kicker and the one wide receiver have a spectacular game tomorrow (and the opposing fantasy QB has an awful game today). sigh... How am I supposed to win anything if my TE and the one RB combine for all of 2 points? At least I got my un-tradeable WR back from his injury (from right before game 1). We'll see how he does today and maybe I'll get to play him next week.
  10. Ok, so I haven't heard back from the host yet with that info I need, so I'm delaying everything til late Monday night.
  11. I always get a little worried when I hear of people swapping in old gears. :D
  12. Probably, but when you're dreaming, money is no object. :D And yup, I was planning on a lakewood bellhousing. On a side note, if you do get permission to go behind the scenes at the museum, let me know and I'll meet you there. I've been meaning to get up there for years now and never have. :(
  13. I'm assuming you've set up the gears properly?

    Who is this??

    Video no worky :redX:
  15. I always figured that the computer opened the injector. So it doesn't?
  16. We don't get a shot of it in the truck?
  17. As I understand it (and this applies to the 4.0 and FI 2.5), if the CPS is faulty, the computer won't fire the plugs or the injectors. If he's smelling gas, it could be something further down the line (like corrosion in the coil wire as I found in my 86, but not until after I blew up the muffler). I'm not saying that it can't still be the CPS, but if he's smelling gas, then it might not be the CPS. manche, have you been able to observe the injector while someone else was cranking? Is it squirting? Make sure you wear eye protection, just in case it backfires.
  18. Maybe. I thought the 2.5L computer controlled the spark and the injectors. Why would the computer open the injectors if it can't read the CPS?
  19. There will be a bunch of them. Jeep had a habit of putting everything into their wire harnesses and just leave the plugs alone if that particular truck didn't have that particular accessory.
  20. The Richmond 6-speed was the trans I was going to put into my Dakota R/T (after I won the lotto of course). It's $3k.
  21. Tech questions should probably go in the tech forum.
  22. That's certainly a possibility for later. One thing at a time though.
  23. That should work. I'd go with a 9". The benefits of the strength, extensive ratio choices, and then the adaptability at the track (refering to the drop out third member) are strong pro arguments.
  24. Like a swarm of angry mosquitoes. :D
