  1. This is where I put the bottle jack when I was removing the coils (or something, I forget).
  2. You can use 91+ blocks with minimal extra work. Just retain your current head and manifolds.
  3. New plan. He's going to reload the update on a parallel web address to see if the errors go away. We'll probably try again for the official update this weekend. In the mean time, we're back to normal with all the forums open.
  4. Didn't much matter, since my reply back to you was apparently undeliverable. :dunno:
  5. If the updated forum isn't running by tomorrow morning, I'm just going to open the old forums again.
  6. I just got word that he's going to try again early this morning. Lord only knows what he's reading up on, but he says he wants to learn a few more things about phpbb before making another attempt.
  7. I've seen checked the new forum and my messages are still there, so I imagine we'll be fine. Hopefully by morning.
  8. Now there's a 4wd conversion waiting to happen. :D
  9. Yup. Sorry. I figured this would be done by now. :(
  10. Don't know. Our host has graciously offered to do the update. He started it last night but ran in to a couple hiccups after I had gone to bed. So now I guess I'm waiting for him to wake up, or for his shift to start, or something. I'm just waiting... :redX:
  11. You were worried before? :dunno:
  12. Holy Big Pics Batman!! I edited a space into your addresses to kill them. They are so freaking huge that my cable internet is choking on them. Better shrink them asap.
  13. Yup. should wrap up everything today. Be aware that any posts made today may not move over to the updated forums.
  14. I don't like asking for money, so I try to keep the costs down instead. Email me with what you want. petermontie@hotmail.com If you want one of the new logo decals, they are not quite done yet.
  15. It appears it was a minor glitch in the old forum. He needed to be an admin and, while I did make him an admin, the forum wouldn't recognize it. :dunno: Not sure what happened there, but it happened late and he wasn't able to get ahold of me. Right now I'm just waiting for him to wake up. I've sent him my info and it should only take a few more minutes of work. The new forum structure went together fine so at least we have that going for us. LOTS of new aspects and features in the new stuff. At least for the admin. :D I haven't explored the user side of it yet.
  16. :hateputers: So I opened up the pub if there are any emergencies. Everything should be ironed out this afternoon. Be prepared that I cannot guarantee that anything you post today will make it over to the new forums.
  17. Just start opening threads in new tabs and read them at your leisure. :D
  18. http://www.zolatoneaim.com/ I'm using "desert camo".
  19. Single stage. No clear, no prime (except on the bare metal I just added today), no sanding except for scuffing up the current paint to help adhesion. Think of it more like a spray-on bedliner than regular paint. :brows: Supposed to be tough as nails when it cures.
  20. That I will certainly do. Especially with this paint. It's not like ordinary paint. Kinda like a mix between paint and bed liner. Today I swapped on my new fender and patched holes. Tomorrow I'll be sanding and masking and using the old fender as practice. Oh, and I was unable to find red scotchbrite, so I bought 120 grit sanding sponges instead. :dunno:

    Before and After

My 90 the day after I brought her home: As she sits now:
  22. The good stuff is at the dealership. Look how long the last one made it. Send a message to BLHTAZ and see it he can get you a better deal than your local stealership.
  23. I'll bet you'll see improved mileage even without the 5th gear. I'd do it in a heartbeat!
  24. Whoops, that's supposed to be Saturday night. So tonight the forum will be shut down at midnight.

    Before and After

My 86 early on in my ownership: And as she sat last year (she's got less fancy tires now): Still pretty much as I got her, except with lots more rust. :(
