  1. How about more of a "profile" shot from the side?
  2. He probably ran out of invisible steel. It's not like it grows on invisible trees, don't ya know. :D
  3. Try to keep all your photos in the one post. Makes it a whole lot easier on us who can't remember the entire history of every single truck. http://comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=12139 I can't move individual posts, so click "edit" and copy your post and re-post it in the right spot. After you do, I'll delete this one for you.
  4. I'd settle for a decent sized picture, but I've gotten no reply from the owner. :(
  5. It's invisible. :D
  6. Can someone get a decent side-photo of the not-smashed side? :brows:
  7. My "limited access" turned out to be "no access", but whatever. I'm back and have a whole lot of posts to read and spammers to delete. But the trip was a success. I've taken possession of my 4th MJ (technically 5th, but one I gave away) and did a lot of seat swapping with JB and Shelbyluv. Pics of my new truck will be up soon, likely tomorrow. Thanks JB! Decals will be based on the CC business card image.
  8. You must have gotten the wrong one I guess.
  9. Going on a whirlwind trip involving family :fool: , beer (Oktoberfest, which technically should be held in Sept), meeting fellow MJers :waving: , and getting to know my newest MJ (anyone got a smilie of a hollowed out shell of an MJ?). And when I return, I should be getting some of the new club logo decals. Yay! :D I should have limited internet access.
  10. I'm betting you weren't the only one. :D
  11. While you're in there, try cleaning out the throttle body with a throttle body cleaner (meaning that it's o2-safe) and a toothbrush.
  12. Front? middle? which ones?
  13. Yup, looks like an XJ to me too. Still needs a club sticker though. :D
  14. Actually, he's going from a broken slider to solid glass.

    YJ???

    Don't tempt me.

    YJ???

I get 25 mpg from a 208k mile hrysler minivan (the "C" fell off) with the 3.3L engine. Just throwing that out there. I mean YJs are cool and all, but nothing impresses your friends like a minivan. :D
  17. I thought about the triangulation and decided it wasn't necessary. But it can't hurt, so if you want to, go for it.
  18. Maybe he's an undercover cop. :D
  19. Mid 90s Dakota rear brake line.
  20. Doesn't matter if it had brakes or not, they are still just drums. Go find some ZJ disks in the junkyard and put them on. :D And just because you don't have any fab tools now, doesn't mean you shouldn't go get some basics stuff. A decent corded drill and an angle grinder can go a long way toward making yourself self-sufficient.
  21. Actually, the 2.5L/auto combo should have 4.56 gears. Double check that on the diff cover tag.
  22. Is it a 4speed manual or a 5speed manual?
  23. Find out what year and model Jeep it came from. Those tidbits will be important later when you're shopping for certain parts.
  24. If you think it's gutless now, just wait til you've got 33s on it. :(
  25. Rocker guards are your friends. :D Get some before you're suddenly looking at your smashed rocker going, "man, I wish I had done that sooner." I did. And by "I did", I mean, I was the guy standing there wishing he had done it sooner. :(
