You can sorta see mine below. Just a straight shot to the rear exhaust hanger and a slight down tip on it.

factory TJ hooks are different.

Look between the TB mount and the steering box. Another possibility is the nut came loose. Or even that the bolts for the bracket are loose.

Is there a crack in the frame right next to the track bar?

Not without re-setting up the gears. If you're in 4wd, but the front axle isn't engaging, then it's likely that there's no vacuum getting to the CAD in the front axle.

That's because "don't" has an apostrophe in it. :D "d o n t" is under the auto-change settings to "don't" (along with words like I m, c a n t, and i s n t). Essentially I was bored one day many months ago. :shake: Spell it correctly and all should be well. :thumbsup:

I think it was n a discussion here a while ago. :dunno: I've see that info more than once too. But the 952 number persists on some of the "info" pages so I don't know what to think. I personally don't have any hard data on it.

I just spoke with Rick and he says she's doing much better :D , though the busted ankle is worrying him (that she might fall again).

I could see PORing the floorboards and the inside of the bedsides where the rust typically starts, but you won't be able to get at the inside of the cab, rockers or frame. If nothing else, our trucks are very reliable with where they start rotting. I would hit the important spots, the underside and most of the frame, and then just paint the exterior like normal. The POR won't really be preventing anything there because that's not where it typically starts (unless the paint has been damaged). Be sure not to plug any of the drain holes, or you could do more harm than good. Since my 88 is already rotted beyond reasonable repair, I bought myself a backup truck (the gutted but rust free 89 hanging out at my parents' place in Georgia) :D

I believe I read that the 952 number refers to 4x4 models.

I might be setting some sort of record here. For the second time in a month, I'm helping a friend move from Florida. :dunno: This time I'm flying down Sunday (on his tab) and helping him drive the truck back on Monday/Tuesday (splitting the drive in half to keep our sanity). For a man who's unemployed, I sure don't have much free time. :shake: Internet access will be sporadic, but he's got wi-fi on his laptop so I shouldn't totally disappear. Should be back late Tuesday either way.
