  1. I don't really have a good photo of it, but I lopped off the one weird tab sticking out and it was enough for my particular circumstances. Mine is a 99 TJ trans/t-case but with a custom crossmember so I'm not sure if it directly relates. If this didn't work, the hammer was the next step. And for the heck of it, here's a photo showing the difference between the TJ/YJ and the MJ/XJ clocking:

    my disapearance

That's a bummer man. :( Don't forget though, ownership is not a requirement for membership. All you need is a love of the trucks.
  3. I've seen a few others, not sure if any of those guys are still around though. There was a super sweet one for sale in Colorado a while back. I wonder if I can find that picture anywhere... :hmm:
  4. 145" TV. :D
  5. Yup. MJ tech goes here, all other tech goes into the Pub.
  6. There is a filter in the software and it's still in effect. Problem is that some of the spammers seem to have figured a way around it. :dunno:
  7. What filter? :dunno: You mean me? :D I still approve or delete each new "member" that signs up. It's not foolproof, but I use a site called stopforumspam.com which keeps a huge database of known bad IPs, usernames, and email addys. Some spammers are obvious and I just zap them. Some require use of that website to weed them out. Some are just not yet in the site and I have to make a judgment call. My fear is always that I might delete a legitimate person so I lean towards approval if I've got nothing to tell me otherwise.
  8. Just to confirm, it is the TPS that you disconnected, yes?
  9. I had the same plan for #137. :D
  10. I believe so, yes. This is what it'll look like inside (sorta, since the images are of a different vehicle) And this is the one on a YJ (pretty much the same as ours):
  11. -Pull the cover on the CAD (central axle disconnect) -move collar over to lock axle shaft -use one of the plethora of ideas for keeping it there -re-install the cover -remove the rats nest of vacuum lines and cap the start point Done. :D Your Jeep will be set up just like the rest of modern Jeeps. 4wd is now available any time you pull the lever. No more problematic CAD.
  12. I've not had any issues.
  13. A wise decision. :D Truck looks awesome!
  14. I upgrade my gears for street driving, not offroading. Looks like a solid base for building on.

  16. Moisture under the carpet can be a real killer. :( Looks great besides.
  17. I changed your links into pics for ya. If you right click on the image, you can copy the "image location" and paste it here. Then highlight it and click the IMG tag to post it up.
  18. I don't know how much it'd be, but the safest way to be sure you're getting a fair price is to get multiple quotes.
  19. I've never heard of them being for sale. :dunno: A couple of the guys have made their own though. You're not the only one to get frame rot there. :(
  20. Nope, don't need a v8. But the gear ratio in your Rodeo helps out a lot. Saves wear and tear on the tranny. Our Jeeps were cursed with some pretty pathetic ratios. :(
