  1. What did you do to "sort it out"? Damn, I love that Bentley dash and gauges.
  2. Both are worth a shot. Let me know how it works out.
  3. Thanks, but I'll keep looking.
  4. "One for the haters"? What's there to hate? Weird....
  5. Great pic. What a nice setting for your MJ. What is the building used for?
  6. Worked! Didn't see my reply, but your reply came up as an email notification. It appears I had been getting notifications for some time, all going to my SPAM folder. "headslap: Looks like it was an operator problem.
  7. Glad you found it. Looks like another example of C.R.A.P.'s.
  8. There are none to be had NOS that I can find. Someone's hoarding one somewhere.... I just can't do plastic wood mate.
  9. If your slip yoke was bad it would have been vibrating before you changed the bushing I would think. Which bushing did you use? Part number for the yoke is 53001987 (21 Splines) or 83503593 (26 Splines). I'm not sure what tranny / spline count you have.
  10. Roger that.
  11. I liked it better when I couldn't see the image. Good Lord............
  12. You can make a best offer for these @ 50% off. Not a bad deal for new OEM switches.
  13. These switches are factory NOS and will work well for the Power/Comfort switch and of course lighting applications.
  14. Lots of common XJ/MJ parts don't show up in the MJ listings on Rock Auto.
  15. Fresh pics. The parts with the yellow lines drawn through them are the outer edges of the flare. The edge appears an inch or so wider than the edge on the flares you guys posted. It's plenty wide enough to tuck under the flare lip all the way around and leaves no gaps. So I guess the new manufacturers broke the original mold. Or cut them down too much. Or something. Unsat....
  16. Thanks much.
  17. Si, those are the studded metal retainers - my bad. In that case, my flares must be cut differently because the MJ front wheel wells were all the same AFAIK. I remember when I installed them I had to bend them up to get them to snap in under the flares. I'll take some better pics today - it's not an optical illusion. Also, the p/n's were different between years, but I think that's because the liners were made out of different materials: 87-90, 55001890-1, PANEL, Inner Protective 91-93, 55027152-3, PANEL, Inner Protective 94-96, 55175008-9, PANEL, Inner Protective
  18. Thanks for the reply. Great looking engine compartment. I've been corresponding with Mark quite a bit and am close to pulling the trigger. He says it's best to use the medium boost pulley to compensate for the increased stroker displacement, but it should fly very well. My 01 intake stuff will all go away too. Sure would like to hear some real world info from someone who has actually done it on a stroker with actual results. Thanks again. Would make a nice winter project.
  19. SEMA? That's the really big show. I watched most of the TV coverage available - either I missed it or it got no TV coverage. This rig has to be the first MJ at SEMA. Good to hear. Limeyjeeper, did you get the side or top mount Boosted Technologies supercharger? I'm considering their side mount kit for my MJ so I don't have to cut up the cowl hood, but have doubts on how much good it would do for the stroker. I'll bet you love it on your 4.0.
  20. It won't. Here's a pic of a NOS 86 23-gal MJ fuel sending unit. There's nowhere to mount the pump.
  21. I meant pull the regulators and switches/harness from a donor, but if you can get the doors @ $50/ea, that's better. Don't forget to grab the cross-body harness too. I got new Electric Life regulators because I didn't want to use the crappy Mopar slooooow-azz regulators.
