  1. Yeah, Florida will probably be favored, as 'Bama is not what you'd call a flashy team, but they are solid everywhere, especially their offensive line and running game. They don't run up the score, party down in the endzone after scoring, and generally act like fools like most of the rest of the SEC and the Big 12. It's a good reflection on their coaching. I'm pickin' Bama of course next week in Atlanta, but it'll be close.
  2. Bring on the Gators!
  3. The clock from a 91 model has by far the brightest display. You could hardwire one in using the above link.
  4. Mid 80s - mid 90s Mercedes W124 models (300E, 300CE, etc.). There may be others that will work, but this is the one I used. They are on Ebay sometimes too: CLICK Here
  5. Yeah, but you're only partially right. The next beer county is now MY county; the first license was granted to sell beer here was Tuesday; I was there on Wednesday stocking up for Thanksgiving. A TRUE reason to give thanks this year. Cut 10 miles off my normal speed runs to the next county. :D And the leeches have retired for the winter under the mud, no danger there. Black Friday, back on topic. Walmart employee trampled to death in Long Island by rabid shoppers. Damn sick matey...........
  6. Can you deliver to N. Alabama and will the pizzas still be hot? You can drive your MJ and maybe we can fix your never-ending heat problemo while I eat the pizzas and suck Miller HL. They don't know how to make a good pie here......... :D
  7. Me three. He provides some decent rote info occasionally, but it's normally geared to self promotion and corporate gain. I'm tired of it too, and decided long ago never to purchase anything from MO Offroad. The prices are not good either. Can usually find the same item cheaper elsewhere.
  8. The TPS sends throttle position output signals to the ECU, then is outputed to the TCM in the HOs which determines shifting RPM points in the AW4. So again, do you have an HO TPS in your rig w. the 92 HO engine? There is an easy TPS test procedure using a multimeter, not always conclusive, but I think you should just replace it. I think you "hosed" it too. :D
  9. So what do you have? The HO TPS? (92 HO in 86).
  10. AAAAAAARRRG. I'm too full of beer and bird. :ack: Hope y'all had a good one!
  11. What do you think of this one Eagle? 2-stage, 3.2HP (?so they say?) 60 gal and 220V? EDIT: Naw, looks like only single stage.............
  12. Yes, Ingersoll Rand makes quality products. But I've got plenty of 220V service in the garage and want a vertical 2-stage to save space.
  13. Yeah, I need a bigger one too. I'm looking at this one. Tractor Supply has them on sale at $349: CLICK Here
  14. First question is what were the temp characteristics before the gauge swap? Did the idiot light ever come on? If not, maybe you are seeing what was happening before with the fan clutch that the idiot light could not pick up, as Eagle says, maybe not. You might have a bad temp gauge, sensor, or wiring from the sensor to the gauge. But first grab an external laser thermometer and verify what is happening with the temp at the sensor hole w. the laser (or infrared).
  15. I'm almost positive the cast alum HO 91-94 era covers will fit your rig, the 15 holers. Just have to re-work the CCV plumbing a bit and use the larger rear tube. You'll also need a larger nipple on the intake to match. Should cure your blowby.
  16. How did you make out on this Jeff-man?
  17. The MAINT REQ light has to be reset by the dealer. It's an ECU timed function in the OBDI models, see below. You either have to ask the dealer reset it, (they may or may not charge you) or pull the bulb, like I did. http://autorepair.about.com/library/faqs/bl134d.htm
  18. Dayem, who cares? Douche bag move. Forget about it...............
  19. Code 21 = Oxygen sensor or circuit. O2 sensor or wiring faulty. This is for 91-96 OBDI Jeeps.
  20. Looks great! What are those four appendages along the upper bed? Tiedowns?
  21. A guy on NAXJA sent me the below; a goldmine of info regarding engine/tranny swaps into Jeeps. Good stuff! I had not seen this before. Not much on auto trannies though........ http://www.jeeps-offroad.com/showthread.php?t=4740
  22. Only JeepCo can call someone a dumba$$ in the best way. :D But in this case, I have to agree. :D Multipurposemj, this was not one of the purposes..........
  23. I don't know Taz, I've heard a lot of bad things about these trannys, mainly excess power loss, especially from Hesco. But then again, I've never had one, so I can't speak from personal experience. :D I know they are electronically controlled like the AW4, but with a separate computer (TCU like the AW4) or controlled by the PCM? I'm guessing by the PCM.......
  24. I don't think you'll need a dropped Pitman arm with that amount of lift, but you'll probably need an adjustable trackbar to re-center the front axle. You'll can probably get by also with shimming the LCAs to get the correct positive caster back (5-8 degrees) rather than needing adjustable LCAs.
