  1. Got a bar from a 2-DR Blazer, with end links and axle brackets. Looks like it's going to fit just fine using the XJ upper end link brackets. It's also a 1" dia. bar and will need no welding, provided I can find the correct length end links. Jeep Driver, could you provide the length of the 2004 Grand offset links you used? Thanks again.
  2. ^^ You might have to pay a bit extra though because of their rarity.
  3. Have you checked the axle vent tube to be sure it's clear and venting properly?
  4. I've never had real good results bleeding the brakes with speed bleeders because I think they allow air back into the system via the screw threads. I always get better results using an assistant to pump the pedal. I read some good reviews (and some bad) on the Earl's solo-bleeders and am interested in what our reviews will be. Dave92cherokee, if you try these please post up your results - thanks.
  5. Don't forget to turn off your lights.
  6. The Nanny. Perhaps my all-time hate show.
  7. Thanks. I think I see an easy way to make these fit on my LWB..............
  8. I use a 3/8" speed wrench. Works well.
  9. Assuming you are referring to the Peugeot BA10/5 manual transmission? Then the answer is no, they don't use cooling fluid like the autos.

  11. Did you check the MAP connector for the 5VDC reference voltage (pin C, BLK/GRN wire)?
  12. Great - this is the one I had in mind all along using different end links and upper brackets. Real good to see it flies on the SWB, and many thanks for posting up the pics. Now I need to get one in hand, mount it to the axle, and see if it'll work around my exhaust pipes. Of course, the only way to get one in hand is to buy it.
  13. Yes, it was a factory option, called the ZQ8 xtreme suspension sway bar option. The measurements for this bar look good for a LWB, but I never knew what the diameter of the bar was. 7/8" sound about right though. This the one you used?
  14. Eyes for links are at 36" and the mounts on the axle are 18.5" apart. Thanks. :) Diameter of the bar?
  15. Excellent work. What is the width of the Blazer sway bar you used? Thanks.
  16. I have no problem in the way medals are weighed and agree with the above. As Coach Lombardi said, "winning is everything". Frankly, I'm very disappointed with the USA's performance (or non-performance) so far, and there is no way you can sugarcoat it. And three of four USA golds are from snowboard events, events I consider trash sports from the X-Games and have no place in the Winter Olympics. The other gold is in "Freestyle Skiing". WTF is that? Dancing on skis? Give me a break. Then the speed skaters whining about the suits being the problem as to why they sucked was a nice touch too. Let's face it: The USA is maintaining the status quo or declining in some cases in the preparation and execution of both Winter and Summer Olympic sports, while most other countries are improving every year. Our abysmal mens boxing team's performance at the 2012 Olympics is an good example - not one medal of any color. And we used to dominate mens boxing just a few years ago. :shake: Oh well, it is what it is and I don't see any changes forthcoming any time soon. A mens hockey gold or even the ladies hockey gold would sure be nice about now................
  17. This might give you some ideas..... Image Not Found http://comancheclub.com/topic/18219-german-mjzj/?hl=german
  18. No fab necessary, I'll post pics later. No fab necessary for a LWB?
  19. Maybe not for the 2.5. But for the 4.0, it requires two Efans, or maybe three depending on the conversion. This equates to more amp draw and a 2nd fan controller. Many ways to do it, but it's a little more work and expense for a reliable and efficient system. But I agree, Efans are better, and it's well worth the conversion in either case.
  20. :clapping:
  21. The suits are slowing down the American speed skaters. Ya, right. I hate excuses.........
  22. I've only had one, a 1965 427 coupe. I loved that car, it looked good, was fun to drive, and went fast. But in 1968 when they changed the body style, I never really wanted another. It does pain me seeing any classic car, truck, or motorcycle get destroyed like that though. No matter what it is........
  23. Thanks Danby. "Use" a torch..." meaning a propane torch? I was planning on using a heat gun I use for heat shrink tubing, but do have a propane torch also. Either one be okay from the inside directly on the wedge? Thanks.
