Maybe, but they carry different part numbers. I've looked for these before and never could find a new one. http://www.fillernecksupply.com/1986-1992-jeep-comanche-fuel-filler-neck-52001814/

MJOTM - November, 2015 - 88Pghcomanche's '88 Pioneer

As was stated originally. Some missed that. It looks great on your MJ with the black highlights. -
All the ground wires for rear lighting circuits and the fuel pump connect to ground via a single sheet metal screw behind the left tail lamp. Pull the tail lamp and check for a clean solid ground before anything else.

I've never been a fan of the 97+ swap either, but this one is as close to perfect as I've seen. The swap is both subdued and aesthetically pleasing. Had to look long and hard for anything in the interior I would change. The only thing I would recommend is using the 95-96 XJ all black version of the inner door handle plates vs. the chrome plates, and skip the chrome plates on the arm rests. As far as the exterior, I wouldn't change a thing. You nailed it. Well done. -
Ah well, the good thing is that with the 18" tires and the standard 3.09 axle you'll never know the difference unless you get another later with higher numerical gears to compare it to. It'll be fine. I was kind of satisfied with my similarly equipped tall geared 2012 JK. Seemed like a dog, my MJ blew it away off the line. So I got on the JK forums and did my reading. That's why I ordered the 2015 with 3.73's. Does it have the towing package?

What's the gear ratio since it has the towing package? It sure looks nice.

The left kidney has learned from the right that it has no choice except to get well. 5cm = ~2" = Wow! That's huge. Sounds like you have had and will continue to have expert care. Gotta be tough enduring the downtime in the hospital. Get well soon.

Sink, you need to drink more beer to dissolve those nasty stones. :group beer: Just trying to add a little humor. Never had one, but I've heard they can be painful. Seriously, I wish you well mate. Take care.....

Well, Eagle didn't specify which, so I took a shot. :dunno:

Long bolt is .312-18x2.625", p/n J9437670. The short bolt is .312-18x1.00", p/n J0180078. For the 2.625" (2-5/8") bolt you may have to buy a (5/16-18) 2-3/4" or 3" bolt and cut it down to 2-5/8". Grade 8 for both. EDIT: http://www.chryslerpartsdirect.com/ carries the long bolt under p/n 154593.

Jim, do you have any HO full gauge instrument clusters? Or any clusters with the auto tranny column shift indicators? Shoot me a PM when you get a chance if you do.

From my experience, the Pentastar 3.6 is a great engine. We had a 2012 JK, the first year for the 3.6, and now have a 2015 JK. Some of the 2012 and early 2013 engines had a valve/head problem especially on the left side that was covered under warranty, but we put 50K on the 2012 with no problems. Our daughter in the USAF drives it now, and it's still problem-free. The 6-speed auto is great and it's fun slap-sticking through the gears when accelerating or decelerating. Mileage is decent (19-21), but not great with the boxy JK. I'm ASSuming the WK2 drive train is the same as the JK's. One thing that really makes a very noticeable difference is gear ratio. Both the 2012 and 2015 have 18" tires. The gear ratio on the 2012 with auto was the standard 3.21 and it was kind of doggy off the line. I ordered the 2015 with 3.73's, and the lower ratio made a huge difference when accelerating. Mileage remained about the same for both. So if you have a choice, get the numerically higher gear ratio if possible especially if your tires are or will be larger than stock. You'll like it more.

What Engine Computer Do I Need?
HOrnbrod replied to al_brady's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Of course, all that's Captain Obvious stuff. My guess is that the OP tied together a hot and ground wire together on an aux light that was tied directly to the battery, and created a dead short when he turned the switch on the next morning and things started shorting out possibly all the way back to the Renix box. Let's see what he has to say before diagnosing.......... -

What does this mean? You tied the two wires together on the broken KC light mount?? Then the next morning when you switched the lights on things started burning? -
