  1. This link and others are in the DIY forum search index under "Downloads". http://comancheclub.com/topic/48710-diy-projects-writeups-master-search-index/
  2. General Grabber red letters (Crappy photochop)
  3. Never mind..........................
  4. I looked at the red letter General Grabbers until I read the specs. The 31's weight 58 lbs. each. That's a lot of inertia to get rolling........
  5. This the one you picked up? Moroso In-Line Fuel Filters Moroso In-Line Fuel Filters remove dirt and debris from fuel systems. Durable, lightweight housing is compatible with both gasoline and alcohol racing fuels. A 40-micron stainless steel filter element is utilized. NOTE: Not recommended for high-pressure fuel injection systems.
  6. Damn, I didn't realize how many of our forum's esteemed members are using or have used these tires. Not one negative comment! Amazing. Thanks all...........
  7. oops - forgot about the 96 intake too. My bad. I went from 91 everything to the 00 intake so bypassed that.
  8. Same sleeve and bracketry up to 96, in 97 they changed the pump mounting system. Better yet, grab the pump and bracketry of a 97 and up and replace the older pump mounting junk. Much better system.
  9. There are classified as light truck tires, standard load, 4-ply. Plenty for me. If you order use the Discount Tire Direct web site for the sales / rebate info. I called my order in and glommed another small discount off the top. I hate calling retailers but this outfit is great to deal with. Have purchased many tires from them over the years and use their "Customer Care" card whenever I purchase. .
  10. Good to hear. The 265/75r15's were the tires I ordered. With Discount Tire Directs' sale and discounts, the AT3's came out to $87.50 each ($350 total) shipped fm. GA overnight to my door. I couldn't beat that anywhere else.
  11. Thanks Bo and everyone else for the comments. I took advantage of Discount Tires' Labor Day sale going on today and tomorrow and ordered a set of Cooper A/T3's. Rebates totaling $155 plus their free shipping make it a no-brainer. Those ATP's look great, but where I drive I don't really need tires that aggressive or heavy. Looking forward to getting them mounted up.
  12. Power and non-power steering columns use different shaft part numbers, 52001947 vs. 52001948. What the difference is I have no idea. If you're lucky the non-power shaft is just beefier but will play. The ZJ box will be no problem though as the MJ and ZJ housings and input shafts are the same.
  13. Didn't know that - gracias.
  14. Never tried Cooper tires of any kind and I see they normally get excellent customer ratings. Anyone using or have used their A/T3 or ATP tires? Mostly interested in their street characteristics, handling in the rain, how well they wear, and noise rating.
  15. That's what the 2.5 Overflow bottle is for. Although eliminating that valve should be done, it's not p/o the cooling system conversion.
  16. 2010 model w. 46K miles? Typo?
  17. 92-1/2 - 98 ZJ boxes are all the same.
  18. Knuck, take a look at page 2 of the below link. Check out how forum member Pike did the cooling system conversion. Easy, neat, and clean. If I had a Renix (I wouldn't), that's how I would do it. http://comancheclub.com/topic/48597-ditching-the-renix-pressure-bottle-for-a-filler-neck-in-the-upper-hose/page-2?hl=radiator
  19. The air bubble might be causing the overheating, but it sure isn't causing a leak from the "water outlet", whatever that is. It mat be something as simple as a gasket, or a cracked block. Coolant in the oil or vice-versa? I'd try to narrow it down a little better before buying.........
  20. The only Dorman part I ever used consciously was their wiper linkage bushing kit. The plastic bushings self destructed in a little over a year. Found NOS nylon bushings and they are still hanging in after 7+ years. Dorman is the bottom feeder of cheap offshore junk parts suitable for emergency use only until you can replace it. Just my opinion. :ack:
  21. ^^ Maybe for the older Renix models w/o the marker lights wired as turn signals, but extra ballast resistors and/or a digital flasher are not necessary for the 91-92, and maybe 90 models as long as a L&R pair of incandescent bulbs remain in the circuit. And the LEDs as turn signals are a nice improvement if you buy quality LEDs and not the cheap junk.
