  1. The stock Mopar ball joints are mfg. by Dana/Spicer and stamped with D/S part numbers.
  2. Good luck finding one.
  3. Might be a good time to switch to rear disks? I threw all that stuff away when I converted to disks on both the 35 then the 44. All I saved were the backing plates.
  4. Glad you got 'er done mate.
  5. This is one of the reasons why I like the rear Ford Explorer disk brakes. As seen in the below pic, they use a stainless steel replaceable channel that snaps over the caliper riding surface to prevent wear on the bracket. When you buy a new set of pads, these channels come with them. I suppose you could fab a similar setup for the front MJ brakes too.
  6. The brake caliper guide looks pretty bad in your pic. Just smoothing it out might work, but the better (correct) fix would be to run a bead weld along the caliper riding surface to build it up uniformly, then grind it down smooth so the caliper won't bind. Might as well do it right, bring them to a welding shop if you have to.............
  7. Very cool. It IS a small world.
  8. Yes, it is cool, isn't it. But I plagiarized the graphics. :rotfl2:
  9. Excellent idea! I'll do the windshield too, but with a clear background. Cruiser is a plagiarist.
  10. Just so no one is confused.................
  11. Get some threaded rod and cut to length.
  12. Did you try the alignment pin trick? I've only done one with a friend many years ago and we had no problems using the threaded rods. It was his method, not mine.......
  13. My rubber flaps don't move anymore.
  14. Me too when I was working for the Navy. Now I'm retired so unfortunately I have to buy stuff if I don't have it in my stash.
  15. Ah, okay. Used to get my fiberglass resin like that.
  16. Worn starter brushes can cause the starter to not spin intermittently. I recently replaced my starter because of this then rebuilt the original. The brushes were nearly gone.
  17. Did you hear the starter solenoid engaging (clicking) each time it wouldn't start? If silence it may be just a loose terminal on the starter motor or a sticking solenoid.
  18. Had to look up Koropon - sounds like good stuff. Looks expensive unless you got some surplus leftover from your work.
  19. http://bazar.automedik.cz/AMD9518539166/jeep/cherokee Not Lund, CETUS is the company that makes them in Poland. http://www.ebay.com/itm/JEEP-CHEROKEE-XJ-SUN-VISOR-FULL-FRONT-ROOF-SPOILER-GREAT-LOOK-/322045594918?hash=item4afb69cd26:g:nXYAAOSwAYtWQo2s&vxp=mtr

    Sender unit

The 91-92 HO MJ fuel senders are all the same regardless of tank size.
  21. Yep, that's what it is.
  22. I have a new pair of 2930s , no L/R anywhere . Si.
  23. OME coil springs used to be labeled R and L on their tags, at least the OME 930s, the 2930s predecessor, were. Don't know if they still are, but you might check. They gave me about 2.5" of lift using fresh spring pads. And yes, I needed an extra shim behind each LCA to correct caster with these springs.
  24. Me too.
