we had jcr bumpers available before,but not anymore.glad i got mine before they discontinued them.

i had the reflex sprayed in mine and liked the looks of it but it does chunk up in a few places.to be fair though i throw engines,rea axles,wood,rocks and anything else you could think of in it so i'm probably asking a bit much of it.

it has a large opening at the top where it goes to the column.the ones i looked at the j/y had a smaller opening at the top where the column goes.if yours is in good shape shoot me a price.

does anyone know where i can get a new steering shaft for my 88 mj?i searched the j/y yesterday and the ones on the cherokees had a different style end at the column.any help appreciated.

i'm doing a 93 ho head and using a 99-up intake.which intake gasket do i need?the # for a 91-98 is different for a 99 -up intake.i'm going j/y shopping this morning and thats the last piece i'll need to start my head swap.no,i'm not using a used gasket in case someone thinks.

i agree they probably didn't sell many rear bumpers.that makes me glad i got there front and rear bumper for my mj.i know the price of 2 bumpers is realisticly more than the value of my truck but i like them and i never intend to tow any trailer behind me.i wish they would never made the tow hitch in it anyway as i think it detracts from the looks of a nice bumper.for the people complaining about the reciever hole size,just fix it or remove your bumper.it's not going to fix itself and neither is jcr.

i have both there front and rear bumpers on my mj.i really wish they wouldn't have made the rear with a reciever hole.i never plan on towing anything with it as honestly mj's aren't really made to tow what i pull as the brakes aren't really up to job unless you hook up trailer brakes.i also think it just looks stupid where the license plate sit's but i'm going to fix that with a flip down plate hanger to hide that stupid reciever hole.

i've got a high flow catco converter and 2 1/2 aluminized exhaust with a flowmaster 40 series.alittle loud but i like it.

definitly change the seal.i replaced my balancer with a professional products one last year and my front was dry so i didn't replace it.a few months later it's pouring.i assume when i removed the old balancer and replaced it i disturbed the seal.they don't cost very much and it's already apart so just do it.

apparently the boxes are built on need to have basis.it takes a week or so to do a box.why don't they tell you that before you order one.

i ordered an agr box for the gf's 95 zj and needless to say it was wrong.it had only 3 master splines instead of 4 like the original box and wouldn't fit.i sent it back and got a psc box since supposedly psc is operated by the original founder of agr.it was about $90 cheaper as well.i've been waiting several days for them to ship the box out,don't know what the holdup is.has anyone used psc and what were the results.i used to think agr was good but i've made 3 purchases from them(pump for my 88 mustang,leaked like hell even without running and i resealed it with an o-ring kit and alls good now,steering box for 78 camaro and everything is okay and the fiasco with gf's jeep steering box).has anyone used psc and what were your results.thanks

just got my reflex bedliner sprayed in today and also replaced the straight pieces of window run channel with the jcwhitney stuff.the stuff fits great and for $18 you could do 3 doors.one less water leak now.still gathering stuff for ho head and 99-up intake swap.

88 mj 4.0 aw4 3.55s with 30.9.50s and it gets about 15mpg.it has 170k miles and it really didn't get much better when it was new with 215s on it.

i had a reflex liner sprayed in my old bed at the body shop next door.he usually gets $400 for over the rails but he did mine for $250 as a favour.i just prepaid him the other day to do my new bed with the same deal as soon as it warms up.

got the jcr front bumper on plus did the 97-01 xj wiper jug in the fenderwell.i promise pics as soon as the snow melts and i can clean it up alittle.still haven't done my timing chain yet but it's coming soon.

i just ordered mine as well.for $17 plus shipping i'm willing to try it.

the o2 sensor won't hurt but leaving the coolant temp sensor unhooked can cause it to deliver too much or not enough fuel.

ring on frame is still there.i tried bending the hose some but it didn't help.it puzzles me because everything on the left side is fine.

i'm looking for a driver side sunvisor clip in burgundy or another color if i can't burgundy for my 88.thanks,gary

i've got some 5 spoke factory cherokee wheels,i belive from a 99-01 model cherokee.ever since i put them on at full wheel lock it rubs the right front brake hose.also the rear e-brake cable flops close to it after you use the e-brake and release it.i replaced the the cable and it still does it.it didn't do this with the factorry steelies or when i had 15x8 black spokes.does anyone else with these wheels have this problem?wheel spacers are out of the question as there aren't many threads hanging out of the wheels as it is.

yeah,i done away with my heater control valve as well.i've put 3 of the thingd on in 10 years.grand cherokee zjs don't use the valves anyway,they're really not that important.

i replaced all my injectors with the multi orifice mustang 19lb injectors.i didn't get 1 more mile per gallon or any noticable power gain.the only reason i replaced my stock injectors was because 4 of them were seeping(replaced o-rings and still seeped).the only improvement i seen was i didn't smell fuel when i cut it off.i did use new injectors,not used ones.

some v8 grand and 6cyl grands are the same size but any are bigger than a mj bar.

your mount is collapsing.mine did this afew years ago.a new one should raise the hanger off the crossmember.
