    Gas prices

you got it good! totally good! $1.31 here on the coast. :( having said that, even when the refinery is right in the back yard it still isn't really any cheaper, so it's not like any pipeline is gonna make a difference like some people think.
  2. i often wish this forum had an up-vote and down-vote button. sometimes i see some good replies, lol. one quote i just heard was : "only the government could think that you could take a blanket and cut a foot off of its length and sew it onto the other end to make it longer." and i agree w/ johnnyc. -get rid of standard-time. (or any time, really.)
  3. breathtaking, awesome scenery !
  4. i used to love these when i was around 8. http://treswright.vervehosting.com/Pages/Page4.html

    CC on FB!

i just use msn messenger and yahoo messenger for that. i talk to ppl all over the world for free all the time, with way less silliness. - also i gave up skype about the same time. I'm thinkin that every time you use fb you are taking away traffic from a legitimate website, much like shopping in a walmart eventually eliminates a lot of local businesses, thus eliminates choices and , ------ well, you know how the rest goes ...........

while my back was turned facebook became the internet. I'm still boycotting it. congratulate me on 4 yrs fb clean-time.
  14. so i never did get this sorted out and have looked at all the sensors and hose connections that i can see. all i can think now is that it may be a gasket issue but i can't see it coming out so can't confirm that in any way (yet). my newest thought on this is ----- are you ready for it? ------- what about by-passing the whole "water-warmed-intake" part of the equation by just running the hose directly to the heater valve ( in the same way as the non-heated manifold ones are plumbed)? has anyone ever tried this? thoughts? crazy? too cheap?
  15. thank you gentlemen  that gives me some hope. this is on my daily driver. - ( my only driver, these days) so I'm anxious to see what the glass place has to say about it come monday. living on an isolated part of the coast means i can't just drive over to the next town or city for services like these, and ferry fares have just about priced the average person out of the market.
  16. and the missing stickers if you can get them.
  17. ive been looking with the search but inconclusive. - tonight i had a piece of firewood shatter the piece that is right behind the driver, (glass all over :( ). its late and i just got in - and of course its saturday - nothing open tomorrow. will a glass place be able to just get me one and put it in ? -its a stock unit. what would you do? thanks in advance, shawn.
